When trying to select the custom preset from the choose brush preset window I get a sigsegv and an hard system reboot is needed in order to continue to use the system. Can't provide backtrace but I managed to record a video example. About the round corners of the Rectangular selection tool, it seems that they get ignored when painting (4.2.0-pre-alpha git 04931e4 - Ubuntu 14.04). My steps: 1. CTRL+R and set round corners to say 20px 2. click and drag to create a selection (pixel selection) 3. paint over its borders (I'm using the Dry Roller preset) Actual Results: rounded corners get ignored (no problem in Vector mode) Expected Results: respect rounded corners -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

In your case, I would try to: 1. close all Krita instances (if open), 2. rename the directory: $HOME/.local/share/krita/ and the file: $HOME/.config/kritarc, 3. download the Appimage file again (check thet the download doesn't fail) 4. assign execute permissions to the Appimage file (I usually right click the Appimage and check the Execute check-box), 5. double click on the Appimage file to start Krita. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
