[kdenlive] [Bug 449946] New: Guides locked doesn't work as expected
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449946 Bug ID: 449946 Summary: Guides locked doesn't work as expected Product: kdenlive Version: 21.12.2 Platform: Appimage OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: b-m...@gmx.ch Target Milestone: --- Two observations: 1. Spacer tool: If Timeline -> Guides -> Guides locked is ticked, they do not move around while using the spacer tool. If Timeline -> Guides -> Guides locked is NOT ticked, they do move around while using the spacer tool. I would it expected just the other way. The same is true when using right click on timeline -> Remove space in all tracks. 2. When inserting space, guides lock doesn't work at all. If I add space using right click on timeline -> Insert space, then I select "Insert space in all tracks", then guides are not moved correspondingly, and if Timeline -> Guides -> Guides locked is ticked or not doesn't change the behaviour at all. Unfortunately, if there are several different account with the same name (here: 2022, 2023), their transactions get aggregated into one account (named 2022 or 2023 resp.). So I'm forced to rename them to something like "2022 (person1 )", "2022 (person 2)" and so on. I'd expect different accounts to not get aggregated into one, even if they share the same name. [kmymoney] [Bug 464636] "Organize by account" if several accounts share the same name
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=464636 --- Comment #3 from mau --- Using the full hierarchy sounds like a very valid fix, since it would solve the issue. [kmymoney] [Bug 464636] "Organize by account" if several accounts share the same name
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=464636 --- Comment #4 from mau --- OK, I just checked and it's correct that the transactions of accounts sharing the same name are reported like "first account", "second account", so a human can split them by analyzing the transaction dates. But I think that's not the intention of reports grouped by account. Thanks Nate, it worked! I remembered that there is a kpipewire _source_ package (https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/kpipewire), which entered one week ago in the repositories: by installing the qml-module-org-kde-pipewire package along with the libraries it depends on I got the miniatures. I have to use the mouse to scroll down in the project bin, so I'm forced to switch between keyboard and mouse. Solution: scroll in project bin such that there's at least always one or two clips shown to both sides of the selected clip, i.e. up and down. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kdenlive] [Bug 448716] New: Deleting clips and proxy clips when removing clip from project bin
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=448716 Bug ID: 448716 Summary: Deleting clips and proxy clips when removing clip from project bin Product: kdenlive Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: b-m...@gmx.ch Target Milestone: --- When working with large projects, at least for my workflow it would be great to be able to delete clips from the disk (i.e. not only removing them from the project) in order to free up space. Also it would be nice to be able to "manage" proxy clips on disk: - either by being able to delete "unreferenced" proxy clips from disk (i.e. proxy clips for clips which are not part of the project anymore) - or by being able to delete proxy clips, when clips are deleted (as described above). Since proxy clip file names consist only of a (presumably) file hash, there is no easy way to remove them, when corresponding clips are deleted. Currently, I - remove unused clips from the project bin - use a file manager to compare the list of the remaining clips in the project bin to the clips in my Clip Material folder - delete unused clips in the file manager If I have to free more disk space, I additionally - remove all proxy clips - re-open the project and re-generate all proxy clips. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kdenlive] [Bug 448713] Project Bin: Focus on hidden clip (when working with keyboard)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=448713 mau changed: What|Removed |Added Platform|Other |Appimage Version|unspecified |21.12.1 --- Comment #2 from mau --- I'm using an Appimage of 21.12.1 under Linux. Well, the behaviour isn't new for me, I experienced it for several years but never reported it. Following your reply, I just tried it again and have to state more precisely: I open a project with several folders in the project bin and many clips under at least on of them. I select one clip with the mouse, than I use Arrow Down to select the next clip. As long as this clip is currently shown in the project window sub window, I see it selected (blue background). Now when the last visible clip is selected and I continue to select the next one by pressing Arrow Down, the highlighted "line" disappears, i.e. a clip is selected which is below the lower sub window border. If I continue pressing Arrow Down, the next clip is also "hidden" (second clip), but if I continue again to select the third clip, the view is updated, i.e. it scrolls down. Since I usually just continue to the next clip and use my mouse to scroll when the highlighted line drops out of the project bin window, I never found out that is "self corrects" itself after a few more clips. If I select clips up instead of down, the problem doesn't exist, i.e. it scrolls just fine. If I go down again, the same pattern does apply: 1st and 2nd clip are "hidden", for the 3rd clip the view is updated correctly. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I added the category Rental Income 3. I added the transaction: 1000.- Cash against Rental Income, 200.- Cash against Incidental costs, paid by the tenant to us (we are the landlord in this case) 4. I modified the report Transactions by Payee (comment: REPORT 1): Filters: deselect the cash account 5. I duplicated the report and changed it to Transactions by Month (comment: REPORT 2). Observed result Report 1 shows a total of 800 for Tenant, which is 1000.- - 200.-, which is wrong, since we filtered for only Incidental Costs. [digikam] [Bug 386959] Properties view: wrong creation date [patch]
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=386959 mau changed: What|Removed |Added CC||b-m...@gmx.ch --- Comment #15 from mau --- Hmm, for me it looks like we have two different problems here: First one is the mapping: The Metadata Working Group (MWG) [1] recommends for Tag Name "CreateDate" Composite:SubSecCreateDate EXIF:CreateDate IPTC:DigitalCreationDate IPTC:DigitalCreationTime XMP-xmp:CreateDate CurrentIPTCDigest IPTCDigest which is the "creation date of the digital representation" (MWG), and for Tag Name "DateTimeOriginal" Composite:SubSecDateTimeOriginal EXIF:DateTimeOriginal IPTC:DateCreated IPTC:TimeCreated XMP-photoshop:DateCreated CurrentIPTCDigest IPTCDigest which is the "creation date of the intellectual content being shown" (MWG). So apparently a photoshop-named tag should be used for DateTime information - at least as a fallback if no other field contains the DateTime information. Second problem is: Resolution (time information included or not). Since there seem to be cases when Xmp.photoshop.DateCreated does only contain the date and not the time (and that could at least theoretically be the case for all DateTime fields), I'd propose to prefer fields wich contain both date and time over fields which contain only the date part. So I'd use two priority rankings: First go through all DateTime fields in the defined order, if a valid value for Date and Time is found -> use that and exit. If no entry is found, go through all DateTime fields again, in the same order, and accept the first date value (withouth time) -> use that and exit. Another way of handling all the different fields would be to group them (just as MWG does) and check for and report any inconsistencies found (like different dates / times or different resolution (missing time)). That would allow to correct them, but the resulting question would be which cases of inconsistent information could be corrected silently and which cases would require human / user intervention. [kdenlive] [Bug 388065] New: Audio out of sync (sampling frequency)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388065 Bug ID: 388065 Summary: Audio out of sync (sampling frequency) Product: kdenlive Version: 17.08.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: b-m...@gmx.ch Target Milestone: --- Hi I guess I've found a bug in kdenlive, using the 17.08.3 AppImage. In my project most of the clips have audio with 48000 Hz sampling frequency, but some of them have only 44100 Hz. In the timeline everything is shown and played back correctly, but when I render my project I get audio and video significantly out of sync. I could trace it back to the different sampling frequencies. If I convert these 44100 Hz files to 48000 Hz and replace them in the timeline, I can render my project correctly, audio and video are in sync. Reproducible: always Steps required: 1. mix 44100 Hz and 48000 Hz audio files in project 2. find that audio and video are in sync in the timeline 3. render project 4. find that audio and video are not in sync in the rendered file 5. replace 44100 Hz files by 48000 Hz variants, render and find result in sync -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388065 --- Comment #1 from mau --- Additional info: The 44100 Hz clip begins correctly, but runs too fast so it ends before it should. [kdenlive] [Bug 388385] New: Rendering as parts: lost frames
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388385 Bug ID: 388385 Summary: Rendering as parts: lost frames Product: kdenlive Version: 17.12.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: b-m...@gmx.ch Target Milestone: --- Description: Create a new project and add several clips to the timeline (seamless). Export the complete project and export it clip-by-clip. Concatenate the clip-by-clip version using ffmpeg (ffmpeg -f concat -i -c copy ). Compare the complete project-render and the concatenated one: the latter one is shorter, missing exactly one frame per clip (you can also compare the length of the rendered clips and the original ones it you use them completely). Reason why this is a bug: This behaviour is problematic if you render your project's video split in several parts (e.g. to because of render time or memory usage) and merge it with the project's audio afterwards, with the audio rendered completely in one step. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kdenlive] [Bug 388415] New: vidstab: Cannot remove or mute audio
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388415 Bug ID: 388415 Summary: vidstab: Cannot remove or mute audio Product: kdenlive Version: 17.12.0 Platform: Appimage OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: b-m...@gmx.ch Target Milestone: --- Using vidstab for a clip to stabilize the image works great, but there is a negative side effect: I cannot remove the clip's audio. Split audio seems to work, but if I remove the split audio, it still gets exported (but is not present if I play the timeline). Applying the mute effect doesn't work either: the audio gets exported as well, but is not present if I play the timeline. Workaround: render the render zone related to the clip, import the new clip to the project, replace the old clip (.mlt version of the original clip, with vidstab applied) and remove it's audio. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 388416] vidstab: Crash if two clips are stabilized at the same time
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388416 --- Comment #3 from mau --- Several clips and crashes later I think I can state the following: Crashes happen after the mlt file has been created and when the new clip gets added to the project bin; I can see it being added just before kdenlive crashes. If I deactivate "Add clip to project" in the vidstab dialog, kdenlive doesn't crash. [digikam] [Bug 229010] No support to resync GPS data from digikams database into into jpg files
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=229010 mau changed: What|Removed |Added CC||b-m...@gmx.ch --- Comment #5 from mau --- Yesterday I ran into the same problem: In the past I had geo-located many but not all photos and yesterday I began correcting some wrong geo tags and setting missing ones. For the initial test as well as most images that seemed to work fine, but at some point in time I realized, that there are images where digikam shows the corrected gps data, but the xmp files are not updated correctly. Furthermore there might be a bug that gps data is written into the jpg although I've set it to write to metadata only. I tried to get the gps data in the sidecar files by both Write Metadata to File and by using the Maintenance Tool, but neither of them worked. Now I wonder how I can check that all gps tags are written correctly to the xmp's - yesterday I loaded test files into darktable, but that's not perfect and doesn't scale that well... And the fact that gps coordinates can be specified in different formats doesn't help either, converting them isn't that much fun... Is there a way to force digikam to write the gps data into the xmp files, maybe on the command line? Another idea for a workaround? Do you need more info or is there another way I can help? My settings: write all metadata to sidecar files only. My version: digikam 4.4 on Debian Jessie (4.14 in jessie-backports misses gps support completely, but that's a different problem). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
