The spinning gear stops and the num key and caps lock key no longer light up the LEDs on the keyboard. Reset button required to reboot. A new user can login fine. Nothing in the log file to indicate what may be hanging. Must be an issue with some configuration, but I have not been able to tell where it might be. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3. What other packages were included in that update? > Any chance you can upgrade to Fedora 37 and try again? Many packages were upgraded, most of them were KDE related. I uploaded a file with all of the file names. I am afraid that upgrading to Fedora 37 will break other things things. I am not ready to do that. How does one backup kde configuration and start fresh? The wallpaper is there; however, no other graphics are displayed on login. Right clicking opens the menu; however, configure desktop tab opens a window titled Floder View Setting -- Plasma, but the window is empty or shows window that is behind it. The mouse buttons work at the locations of the desktop icons and the taskbar.
