The highlight process of Okular is very unfriendly: 1) you have to discover a hidden annotation bar (review bar) 2) Okular don't have a way to keep the annotation tool (pin). So if I highlight a word, I have to click it again to make another highlight. 3) If I use a lot of colors to highlight words I have to configure a lot of things in the review bar. Today, I use Foxit reader, where the annotations tools are much more accessible, but I would change to an opens source alternative as Okular if it addressed theses items. It would be nice if we could select color of highlights with just one click. 2- It would be nice too if we could highlight separated passages without having to click again in the highlight feature. I think pdfxchange has a functional model of an interface with this aspects in mind. 3- Another feature would be the ability to split the screen and see different parts of the same document at the same time. Like the text and the graphs on the end of a scientific paper. Okular is already great, but would be unbeatable with this features. Neither horizontally nor vertically. Only maximize window. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a pdf file 2. drag the title bar to the right or left edge of the screen OBSERVED RESULT The okular window resizes occupying 1/10 of the screen widht. And I am unable to drag the window margins to resize the window. EXPECTED RESULT The okular window resizes occupying half of the screen width and I can drag the margin of the window with the mouse to resize it.
