If this is duplicate of this bug:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359508

then I can reproduce it every time.

1. Right-click Audio Volume -icon
2. Select "Audio Volume Settings"
3. It opens seemingly without any problems.
4. Close "Audio Volume Settings"

5. Repeat steps 1 & 2.
7. This time it crashes Plasma

OS: Kubuntu 16.04
Version of plasma-desktop: 4:5.5.5
Version of Qt: 5.5.1

[kmix] [Bug 362366] New: Audio Volume Settings doesn't have scrollbar when there are many applications

2016-04-27 Thread William Linna via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362366

Bug ID: 362366
Summary: Audio Volume Settings doesn't have scrollbar when
there are many applications
   Product: kmix
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: unspecified
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Visual: Layout and GUI
  Assignee: es...@kde.org
  Reporter: william.li...@openmailbox.org

For example, I had many VLC-player instances and browser open. I then opened
The Battle for Wesnoth and wanted to adjust its volume through the mixer.

However, I couldn't see it and at first I didn't know why. Then I realized that
I had to resize

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open many applications that use sound (like many VLC-player instances, a web
browser, a game etc.)
2. Open Audio Volume Settings

Actual Results:
If the Audio Volume Settings -window is small, you don't see all the
applications and there is no scrollbar.

You can resize the Audio Volume Settings, but in my case I had to resize the
window so much that it covered 70 % of my vertical space. At first I didn't
even know that applications were missing because of lack of space.

Expected Results:
It would be nice to have a scrollbar when there are many (sound) applications
open.

Kubuntu 16.04
Plasma 5.5
Qt 5.5.1

Do you mean that it doesn't show individual applications?

If yes, I'm voting for this to be fixed.

Going to "Audio Volume Settings" is very inconvenient, when all I want to do is
to change the volume of one application.

Well, this is embarrassing :S

I'm using plasma-pa (I don't even have kmix installed...). Sorry, I didn't
realize that plasma-pa is a different thing.

Actually, I was using plasma-pa instead of kmix. Kmix works fine for me so I'll
remove my votes.
