Can we pinpoint what media exactly?

[kdenlive] [Bug 461441] New: The composite transition is very buggy

2022-11-04 Thread Tio
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=461441

Bug ID: 461441
Summary: The composite transition is very buggy
Classification: Applications
   Product: kdenlive
   Version: 22.08.2
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: grave
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Video Display & Export
  Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org
  Reporter: cont...@tromsite.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Sp basically I struggled to make some sort of animation using a few layers and
the composite transition. In Kdenlive looks ok when I use 1:1 preview -
https://files.trom.tf/s/fnHGpXXSg5RjJQi

But after rendering it looks like this:
https://files.trom.tf/s/8ZP5j3nSs7jfMro

If I am to change the preview to say 360p it again looks out of place

Thank you. I am now using the Cairo Blend to achieve the same results. As for
replicating I can easily replicate on multiple Kdenlive versions. Simply add 2
clips on top of each other and try. Right now I have changed that transition to
something else since I need to move on with my project. But as I said this is
an old bug from my tests and I can easily replicate. If you think it can help
you debug this and you cannot replicate it I can make a demo project and send
over.
