Bug ID: 485386
Summary: Fat fingered something around the Ctrl+Alt+Fn keys and
plasma disappeared
Classification: Plasma
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 6.0.3
  Platform: Arch Linux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: generic-crash
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: tt...@ttimo.net
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Application: plasmashell (6.0.3)

Qt Version: 6.6.3
Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Operating System: Linux 6.8.4-arch1-1 x86_64
Windowing System: X11
Distribution: "Arch Linux"
DrKonqi: 6.0.3 [CoredumpBackend]

-- Information about the crash:
While trying to Alt-Tab something, I fat fingered and may have pressed
Alt+Fn+TAB or similar, and plasma shutdown.

This happens every now and then unfortunately, and I lose my entire desktop and
any not saved work. Pretty painful when I would normally run a session with
connected hosts and running shell processes for weeks on end.

The reporter is unsure if this crash is reproducible.

   Version: 24.12.0
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: VNC

SUMMARY

I am struggling on a slow remote linux session over vnc. Key presses tend to
turn into duplicates. This doesn't happen 100%, but happens often enough to
make it very difficult to type anything.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect to remote linux over vnc
2. Type in some text

OBSERVED RESULT

Duplicate letters, numbers etc.

EXPECTED RESULT

Typing produces normal text with no duplicates.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Client is latest Arch, server is Ubuntu 24 noble X11 xfce
