[kdenlive] [Bug 479928] New: Feature request - Import proxies from an external sources
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=479928 Bug ID: 479928 Summary: Feature request - Import proxies from an external sources Classification: Applications Product: kdenlive Version: 23.08.4 Platform: Ubuntu OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: beatquest_d...@hotmail.com Target Milestone: --- On the KDEnlive subreddit, it was suggested to me to submit a feature request here, so there it is ! Here is the situation: I have a headless server that has well enough power to pre-render proxies for my videos so I can edit on my workstation... I already figured-out a script to auto render the proxies on a RAM drive... I have yet to find a way to include those proxies KDEnlive... The only workaround I found was to use the proxies as "main files" and replace them with the originals via a search-and-replace in the .kdenlive file, but it introduces many other issues. Is it possible to provide external proxies manually? (the external proxies function only allows certain formats, nothing generic) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
