using Kubuntu 17.10 on 2 different computers since Jan. No problems with
kwallet requesting a kwallet password until I changed the main log-in password
using the termimal passwd command. Now kwallet dialog box keeps popping up
whenever an app needs a password- network manager, Vivaldi web browser.
Attempted to replicate on 2nd machine by changing that log-in and the same
thing happened (and then caused  a loop where network manager kept failing
before connection could be made). This seems different than previous upstream
problems with network manager listed in previous bug reports because other apps
involved - Vivaldi. Have third box running Manjaro with KDE Plasma, but
unwilling to screw this machine up too.

Went from framework 5.9~ to 5.10~ and now dashboard only displays on a black,
opaque background. All desktop effects settings have no impact. Installed a
transparent theme and still no effect. I have kde plasma installed on 4 other
machines (3 on Antergos and one on Manjaro) and  none have this problem. The
problem machine is an old core 2 duo running at 2.0 ghz with 4 gb ram.
