[okular] [Bug 449709] Print Color Mode: not possible to print in black-white
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449709 --- Comment #10 from Michael Büker --- (In reply to Erik Quaeghebeur from comment #9) > In any case—but this is likely bigger than this bug—it would be good if the > print dialog also exposes the color mode for physical printers as it now > does for print-to-pdf in the Options tab, next to the Double Sided Printing > option. This used to be the case until KDE 4 at least. The feature was subsequently removed for reasons unknown to me. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

What happens if you move that folder out of the way for a test? Yes, there is a file there named kwriteui.rc, which is about 100 lines of XML. When I move this file away, two things happen: 1. The missing "Configure kwrite …" comes back. 2. My toolbar customizations are (partly?!) reset. Both effects revert when I put the file back in place. I'm attaching the kwriteui.rc in question (note that I've never manually edited it, only fiddled with the toolbar editor in kwrite itself), as well as screenshots of both situations. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449709 Michael Büker changed: What|Removed |Added CC||m...@michael-bueker.de Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED --- Comment #3 from Michael Büker --- I confirm this bug for: - Okular 21.12.3 - KDE Frameworks 5.92.0 - Qt 5.15.3 When "Mono" printing is selected via the "Properties" printer configuration dialog, output is in color anyways. In the past, Okular had a "Color Mode" selection in the "Options" tab of the print dialog (checked for Okular 0.20.2 in KDE 4.14.2). This no longer exists. It seems like okular somehow overrides the printer's settings with this kind of "Color Mode" selection, even though it doesn't exist in the print dialog anymore. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[korganizer] [Bug 451700] New: Holidays missing in month view for certain "Working Period" settings
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=451700 Bug ID: 451700 Summary: Holidays missing in month view for certain "Working Period" settings Product: korganizer Version: 5.18.1 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: monthview Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: m...@michael-bueker.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Any selected holidays are _missing_ in the month view for all those times which are defined as "Working Period" in the "Time and Date" settings. In other words: The month view only shows holidays if they occur on days which are _not_ a "Working Period" per "Time and Date" settings. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. In Settings -> Time and Date -> Holidays, choose some Holidays (tested for de_de). 2. In the month view, holidays will appear as expected. 3. In Settings -> Time and Date -> Working Period, disable "Exclude holidays". 4. In the month view, all holidays on weekdays will be missing. 5. In Settings -> Time and Date -> Working Period, additionally include Saturdays and Sundays as Working Period. 6. In the month view, all holidays will be missing. OBSERVED RESULT The month view shows holidays if (and only if) they fall outside of the defined "Working Period", which can be the case for two reasons: a) either "Exclude holidays" is activated, or b) the corresponding weekday is disabled in the "Working Period" definition. EXPECTED RESULT The month view should always show all selected holidays, regardless of the "Working Period" definition. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 21.10 KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 (built against 5.15.2) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[korganizer] [Bug 451700] Holidays missing in month view for certain "Working Period" settings
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=451700 --- Comment #2 from Michael Büker --- Thank you for checking. I don't have the latest version handy for testing, but I've confirmed for the reported version: All of the German end-of-year holidays (including Weihnachtsfeiertag and Neujahr) disappear when I _disable_ "Exclude holidays" and _include_ Saturday and Sunday as "Working Period". However, there's one thing I neglected to mention in my original report: After changing the corresponding settings, I need to close and re-open korganizer for the bug to manifest itself (i.e. the holidays to disappear). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[korganizer] [Bug 451862] New: Certain weekend holidays missing in month view
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=451862 Bug ID: 451862 Summary: Certain weekend holidays missing in month view Product: korganizer Version: 5.19.3 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: monthview Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: m...@michael-bueker.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Month view (but not agenda view) appears to be missing: - any holidays which occur on a Sunday by definition, and - any holidays which happen to fall on a Saturday (with one unexplained exception, see below) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Enable holidays, in this example: German (Germany) 2. Inspect month view, in this example: throughout the year 2022 OBSERVED RESULT The following holidays, which occur on a Sunday by definition, are missing: - Beginn der Sommerzeit (27.03.2022) - Ostersonntag (17.04.2022) - Muttertag (08.05.2022) - Pfingstsonntag (05.06.2022) - Beginn der Winterzeit (30.10.2022) - 1./2./3./4. Advent (27.11.2022, 04.12.2022, 11.12.2022, 18.12.2022) The following holidays, which occur on Sundays in 2022 (and 2023) by accident, are SHOWN: - 1. Mai (01.05.2022) - 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag (25.12.2022) - Neujahr (01.01.2023) The following holidays, which occur on Saturdays in 2022 by accident, are missing: - Heiliger Abend (24.12.2022) - Silvester (31.12.2022) As a strange exception, the following holiday on a Saturday in 2022 by accident, is SHOWN: - Neujahr (01.01.2022) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Kubuntu 22.04 (dev preview) KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.92.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION korganizer 5.18.1 is not affected by this bug. It was discovered while investigating Bug 451700, which affects 5.18.1, but not 5.19.3. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=451862 --- Comment #2 from Michael Büker --- (In reply to gjditchfield from comment #1) > The month view only shows holidays that are defined as "public" holidays. > The definitions for "German (Germany)" are given at > https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kholidays/-/blob/master/holidays/plan2/ > holiday_de_de . > Neujahr is public, so it appears regardless of the weekday; > Beginn der Sommerzeit is seasonal, and never appears. > This is, arguably, odd behaviour. [korganizer] [Bug 449473] New: "Icons to use" setting for month view and agenda view has no effect
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=449473 Bug ID: 449473 Summary: "Icons to use" setting for month view and agenda view has no effect Product: korganizer Version: 5.18.1 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: monthview Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: m...@michael-bueker.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY In korganizer Settings --> Views --> Month View (and Agenda View), it's possible to set the "Icons to use" for displayed events/todos/journals. However, these settings have no effect. They do not change the icons displayed in the month view (or agenda view), they are not saved in ~/.config/korganizerrc, and they are reset after restarting korganizer. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. create calendar events with certain attributes (e.g. recurrence, alarm) and view them in month view (or agenda view) 2. change the icons to be displayed in Settings --> Views --> Month View (and Agenda View) --> Icons to use OBSERVED RESULT The icons displayed in the month view (or agenda view) do not change. Additionally, after restarting korganizer, the settings made manually are lost and reset. EXPECTED RESULT The icons should change according to the selection, the setting should be preserved, and (presumably) saved in ~/.config/korganizerrc. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 21.10 KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 (built against 5.15.2) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Searching the KDE source code for adjacent settings in ~/.config/korganizerrc (like ShowJournalsMonthView), there seems to be no code to even save these "Icons to use" settings, so maybe the feature is not fully implemented? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
