2016-08-17 Thread Marco Parillo via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=367473

Bug ID: 367473
Summary: Partition Manager seems to show swap partition is
using more than its size
   Product: partitionmanager
   Version: 2.2
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
   URL: http://imgur.com/a/8ay0g
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: andr...@stikonas.eu
  Reporter: marco_pari...@hotmail.com

free -h
  totalusedfree shared buff/cache available
Mem: 3.8G1.4G1.5G 50M1.0G2.2G
Swap: 8.4G 0B8.4G

So it seems as if I am using none of my swap, Yet, it seems to show the same
amount used as my root partition.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Partition Manager
2. View > Refresh Devices and File > Quit and re-starting it return the same
results

Actual Results:
See URL and Attachment.

Expected Results:
Something like the results from free -h
  totalusedfree shared buff/cache available
Mem: 3.8G1.4G1.5G 50M1.0G2.2G
Swap: 8.4G 0B8.4G

Actually Manjaro, but Arch was the closest in the pull-down.

Version 2.2.1
Using:
KDE Frameworks 5.24.0
Qt 5.7.0 (built against 5.7.0)
The xcb windowing system

On Kubuntu YY (to become 16.10) KInfocenter reports Plasma 5.6.5 and
Frameworks 5.23. I could create a new activity from the 'Hamburger' menu, then
use the Other tab to assign ctrl+meta+a, and click Create. When I go back to
the Activity, the shortcut for switching to the activity is lost.

On Manjaro (fully updated) KInfocenter reports Plasma 5.6.4 and Frameworks
5.22. I could create a new activity from the 'Hamburger' menu, then use the
Other tab to assign ctrl+meta+a, and click Create. When I go back to the
Activity, the shortcut for switching to the activity is still stored in the
Other tab, but the shortcut seems to not actually switch activities.

On both, I can use meta+tab to cycle between started activities.

[plasmashell] [Bug 362105] Taskbar options 'autohide'/'windows can cover' not functional

2016-06-23 Thread Marco Parillo via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362105

With Plasma 5.6.5. I can hide the panel, show the desktop, click the K kicker,
and move the mouse pointer up to one of my favorites? It seems to me that the
bottom of the kicker menu is too high, where the panel should have been, but is
now hidden.

Confirmed with 5.6.4 in Kubuntu YY (to become 16.10) using:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/staging-plasma
sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade -y

2015-12-24 Thread Marco Parillo via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357125

Bug ID: 357125
Summary: Cannot right-click favorites and sort by name
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.5.1
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
   URL: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=289&t=130220
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Application Launcher (Kickoff)

I used to click on the Application Launcher (AKA Kicker), see the list of
favorites and right click > sort by name since Plasma 4.x through 5.4.3.
Now on Manjaro 15.12, with Plasma 5.5.1, I can no longer do so.
Was this function removed?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Left-click on Applications Launcher
2. See Favorites
3. Right-Click

Actual Results:
No option to sort by name.

Expected Results:
There used to be a sort by name.

This appears to be resolved with the daily builds of Kubuntu 16.04 after
upgrading Plasma to 5.5.3 and Qt to 5.5.1.

I can confirm with the Kubuntu Daily Build running Plasma 5.5.3. In my case, if
I hit cancel, the Select Icon - KDE Control Module <2> File Dialog remains open
and neither cancel nor the X in the upper right can close it.
