This is on wayland but I've also just tried it on X11 and the issue is the
same.

Just to be sure that it works I've tried it with a Windows PC and there the
setup works so the cables and monitor settings should be fine.

Would you know any logs that I can have a look at to see what's going wrong?
Then I could go and create an issue somewhere else I guess :D

SUMMARY
I have a 1920x1080 secondary monitor which I use for office tasks etc.
sometimes I switch that monitor with a 1360x768 TV to watch movies. Sometimes
after switching the monitors end up overlapping or with space between.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use plasma wayland
2. Plug in secondary monitor
3. Switch that cable with another monitor with a different resolution

OBSERVED RESULT
The monitors overlap or are spaced apart

EXPECTED RESULT
The monitors are positioned correctly

(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0
Qt Version: 6.7.0

Hi,
I have not been able to reproduce this with the link I have given in the
original report (or with other links I tried). They all default to https now.
This might be different in other parts of the world where https is not
wanted/allowed.
