[plasmashell] [Bug 445652] New: Plasma keeps asking for reboot since upgrading to Fedora 34
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445652 Bug ID: 445652 Summary: Plasma keeps asking for reboot since upgrading to Fedora 34 Product: plasmashell Version: 5.22.5 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: System Tray Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: ovidiu@gmail.com CC: mate...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY I'm been using the plasma applet to get notified of updates and install them since this thing existed. A few months ago I've upgraded my system to Fedora 34. Since then this applet keeps asking me for a reboot. No matter how much I reboot the system, this is the first notification I get when the system turns on. OBSERVED RESULT Reboot/Restart request is always active. EXPECTED RESULT Just like before, only ask for a restart after installing updates that require a restart. Otherwise only show a notification and the updates icon when there are updates available. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435199 Ovidiu-Florin BOGDAN changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ovidiu@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Ovidiu-Florin BOGDAN --- I like the idea presented in bug 434217 about having 2 sets of shortcuts: one for mute all and one for mute the default device. This new widget has an effect of skewing the Margins of the Panel, which I think is really unpleasant and looks wrong, but no other way to be identified easily on the panel. Maybe we can highlight it with some desaturation or similar effect on the panel? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Right click and choose Edit Panel, the Separator is there, but you can't see it easily 2. Add a second Margins Separator and then the panel has skewed margins between the two Margins Separator OBSERVED RESULT Weird panel margins and no easy way to identify the Margins Separator widget on the panel EXPECTED RESULT Maybe a desaturated effect on the Margins Separator, at least in Edit Panel mode. Please advise or fix, as I'm told it shouldn't require DBus on Mac. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[dolphin] [Bug 397520] Mac OSX Build from binary factory does not start
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397520 --- Comment #2 from Ovidiu-Florin BOGDAN --- I've tried doing that, but I don't have that launch agent, even though I have dbus installed. We should write a guide for Mac users on how to install and setup dbus and put it in the KDE wiki under Mac. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
