[dolphin] [Bug 494378] New: Integrated terminal spits out unwanted commands when dockVisibilityChanged and showEvent are triggered

2024-10-09 Thread Eren
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=494378

Bug ID: 494378
Summary: Integrated terminal spits out unwanted commands when
dockVisibilityChanged and showEvent are triggered
Classification: Applications
   Product: dolphin
   Version: 24.08.1
  Platform: Arch Linux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: panels: terminal
  Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: erenkarakas...@hotmail.com
CC: kfm-de...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open integrated terminal
2. Open "Configure Toolbars" and add whatever action you want, click apply

or

1. Hide integrated terminal with F4
2. Reopen it

OBSERVED RESULT

cd /
cd ${cwd}
is spitted out into the terminal, 5 times on the first one and once on the
second one.

EXPECTED RESULT

Should not show those commands

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.11.2-cachyos
KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0
Qt Version: 6.7.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I tried to take a look at the problem but could not solve it since integrated
terminal uses cd commands to keep in sync with folder view. For example hiding
and reopening the panel needs it in case user changed directory in the mean
time.

Maybe adding a changeCurrentWorkingDirectory method to Konsole's Part.cpp and
using it could solve the issue but I wanted to ask before trying to implement
it.

First entries are from sorting, it sorts the view by the option you assigned
the shortcut to

Can confirm on 24.12.2 but commit 961e6270e4401a6c7512df3a2e3efd09a25df962 from
Jan 17 seems to have already fixed it. It was not included in the release.

[Plasma Vault] [Bug 464617] New: Uncrypted Folder in Vaults

2023-01-21 Thread Eren Mermut
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=464617

Bug ID: 464617
   Summary: Uncrypted Folder in Vaults
Classification: Plasma
   Product: Plasma Vault
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: ivan.cu...@kde.org
  Reporter: emermu...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 155488
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=155488&action=edit
Picture of the weird file in Vaults

normally as we know encrypted files look like a black folder but there is a
different folder in my "vaults" section and it's blue as normal folders. And
when i try to unlock it , it wants a password and after i log in my password it
says "Failed to open: Unable to perform the operation (error code 18)."

And also when i check the location of this fake vault it says
"/home/proxy35/Desktop"

normally it shouldn't be in Desktop it supposed to be in "home/proxy35/Vaults"
anyways i deleted the all the Vaults after that happened and also a
interesting is that, folder name is same as the old vault i created (you can
see that from the picture i sent) .My purpose is delete that fake vault by
forever . Can you help me about that issue ?
