Bug ID: 367738
Summary: add to favorites "Display Config - KDE Control Module"
unable to run.
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.5.5
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Application Menu (Kicker)
  Assignee: h...@kde.org
  Reporter: cesa...@yahoo.com
CC: plasma-b...@kde.org

Right click to "add to favorites" the Display Configuration - KDE Control
Module from menu creates the favorite icon.
Properties of this icon, kcm_kscreen.desktop, are general:kcm_kscreen.
Attempt to execute results in:
Error-Plasma
"Unable to run the command specified. The file or folder kcm_kscreen.desktop
does not exist."
Help icon for Display Configuration is grey out.

Display Configuration does launch correctly, just not from favorites or "add to
desktop"

1. Click K menu, type "display", right click "Display Configuration" and select
"add to favorites"
2. from K menu launch favorite "Display Configuration"
3. Error - Plasma

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click K menu, type "display", right click "Display Configuration" and select
"add to favorites"
2. from K menu launch favorites "Display Configuration"
3. Error - Plasma

Actual Results:
error - plasma, not launched

Expected Results:
open display configuration from settings

errors also if I create a shortcut on desktop from the favorites icon.
Unable to run the command specified. The file or folder
/usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.icon/contents/ui/kcm_kscreen.desktop
 does not exist.

If I minimize this error it won't maximize by selecting it from the task bar.
Must ALT-TAB to maximize to error. No action can be done until error is
cleared.

Reproduced with a new LIVE USB of kubuntu-16.04.1-desktop-amd64.iso download
from Kubuntu webpage. Same version of Plasma version 5.5.5 and same error.
Error reproduced from OEM image, no new apps installed, no changes to OS, just
boot to LIVE and reproduced steps and got same error.
