the same could be done not in hidden icons, just do same in the tray

I've found that the same works outside of hidden icons - in the tray panel.
Just right-click KClock and all other context menus stack

I am using X11. And I just tried to do the same on Wayland and I can not
reproduce the bug there

I think I don't use any applets that could affect this. Just some KDE Connect
or Redshift ones. Is there anything more I can do to help figure out the
reasons it happens?

[kdeplasma-addons] [Bug 430292] New: Add day color setting

2020-12-12 Thread Bohdan Danylchenko
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430292

Bug ID: 430292
   Summary: Add day color setting
   Product: kdeplasma-addons
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Manjaro
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Night Color Control

Redshift configuration window

SUMMARY
The high blue content of modern monitors makes my eyes hurt, and I prefer a
lower color temperature even during the daytime. It would be awesome if Night
Color control had a day color setting as well. Currently, it's one of the
reasons that stop me from using Wayland, since Redshift doesn't support
Wayland, and Night Colour can't be configured for the daytime. Redshift
configuration is doing pretty well for this situation.

OBSERVED RESULT
Stuck with blue light the whole day

EXPECTED RESULT
Having an ability to change day color setting

> You can just have it on all the time. Does that work for you?

No, it doesn't. During the day I have low light with my curtains closed, and at
the night I use my desktop in full darkness, so I need a different color
temperature. You can look at the most popular software for changing screen
color temperature and most often it has the future of daytime setting, F.Lux
and LightBulb will do as examples. I will attach a couple of screenshots of the
software. It is not really "Night" future, I use it more like an alternative
for a "reading mode" on android phones
