[kdeplasma-addons] [Bug 499050] Notes applet doesn't remember its size
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499050 --- Comment #6 from maxlefou --- Resuming again: Bug is still present, causing the applet to take its default size on boot at random times. Can't test on wayland because wayland doesn't work for me. I found a "visual workaround" though for the bug. When the applet is set to transparent, you can't see its size and doesn't obscure the wallpaper. But well, it doesn't resolve the problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

If you then click the correct name with the mouse, only the current photo is tagged. If you use the arrow keys and hit enter on the correct name, both the current photo and the next photo are tagged with the selected name. Results: Photos get tagged with the wrong person STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Using recent weekly build digiKam-8.6.0-20250209T190112-Qt6-x86-64-debug.appimage on Debian 2. [digikam] [Bug 499740] New: It would be nice to have a way to review recently tagged faces
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499740 Bug ID: 499740 Summary: It would be nice to have a way to review recently tagged faces Classification: Applications Product: digikam Version: 8.6.0 Platform: Debian testing OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Faces-Workflow Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: stuporg...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- In the current workflow, if you tag some faces incorrectly it is very difficult to find the photo which you just tagged a face in. WISH: I wish there were a way to review recently tagged faces USE CASES: * You know you made a mistake, but you can't find the photo you just tagged. This is especially problematic if you are confirming suggestions for a single person. * Multi-user review - One person can do an initial pass, and a second user could review the tagging * Review in case of digiKam bugs (eg. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499739) MODES: I would suggest that a tool be added to select all Images which have been tagged with at least two modes: 1. Show the last N faces which have been tagged (eg. show the last 1000 faces I tagged, etc. 2. Show all faces tagged in the last N minutes/hours/days The results should be able to have the usual filters from the Filter pane apply. SUGGESTION: I would suggest adding a new created_ts column to the ImagesTags table, with a default value of CURRENT_TIMESTAMP. Queries could then leverage this timestamp for the "last N minutes" mode of filtering, or to sort for selecting the "last N tagged" mode. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 499647] Text color and effects not as expected
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499647 --- Comment #5 from Stefan Soyka --- I followed your advice and created the title using the title editor and used the "position and zoom" transformation to scroll through it. This did indeed the trick, colors as wanted. It is a good workaround and even superior because it allows for key frames to control the flow of scrolling. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499734 --- Comment #3 from Justin S --- (In reply to David Redondo from comment #2) > As far as I am aware this is intentional: > Scrolling up should always raise the volume, scrolling down always lower. > Same for brightness up = > brighter Cheers David. Just to double check, even though the user has set their mouse scroll to inverted, you're certain this behaviour is intentional and the widgets are designed to ignore that setting? From a user’s perspective, I could just change the setting in the mouse preferences back to normal and not use the inverted option if I preferred the normal scroll directions, but it is somewhat disorienting being the only place that does not follow the user preference. I'm just trying to understand the reasoning behind this intentional decision? [kmymoney] [Bug 499752] New: The debugger (gdb) cannot display values of instances of the MyMoneyMoney class
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499752 Bug ID: 499752 Summary: The debugger (gdb) cannot display values of instances of the MyMoneyMoney class Classification: Applications Product: kmymoney Version: 5.1.92 Platform: Other OS: All Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: buildsystem Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org Reporter: ralf.habac...@freenet.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY The class MyMoneyMoney is an elementary class and is used very often in the source code. Since the contained value is hidden inside, it cannot be displayed directly in debuggers such as gdb, kdevelop or QtCreator, which makes debugging more difficult. Outputs must therefore be generated manually by adding debug outputs, e.g. with `qDebug() << instance.toDouble()` or in the gdb window with `p instance.toDouble()`. It would speed up debugging if there is corresponding support for debuggers. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. build kmymoney from source (git master branch) with debug information included 2. run ``` gdb /bin/kmymoney (gdb) b main (gdb) r (gdb) b MyMoneyMoney::One ``` 3. inspect debugger output OBSERVED RESULT The debugger displays a lot of data, but not the relevant value: ``` (gdb) p MyMoneyMoney::ONE $1 = { = {d = {d = 0x87f300}}, _vptr.MyMoneyMoney = 0x778b18c0 , static maxValue = { = {d = {d = 0x8807e0}}, _vptr.MyMoneyMoney = 0x778b18c0 , static maxValue = , static minValue = { = {d = {d = 0x880810}}, _vptr.MyMoneyMoney = 0x778b18c0 , static maxValue = , static minValue = , static autoCalc = { = {d = {d = 0x8807b0}}, _vptr.MyMoneyMoney = 0x778b18c0 , static maxValue = , static minValue = , static autoCalc = , static ONE = { = {d = {d = 0x87f300}}, _vptr.MyMoneyMoney = 0x778b18c0 , static maxValue = , static minValue = , static autoCalc = , static ONE = , static MINUS_ONE = { = {d = {d = 0x87f3f0}}, _vptr.MyMoneyMoney = 0x778b18c0 , static maxValue = , static minValue = , static autoCalc = , static ONE = , static MINUS_ONE = }}, static MINUS_ONE = }, static ONE = , static MINUS_ONE = }, static autoCalc = , static ONE = , static MINUS_ONE = }, static minValue = , static autoCalc = , static ONE = , static MINUS_ONE = } ``` EXPECTED RESULT Instead, the debugger should display the value contained in the named instance ``` (gdb) p MyMoneyMoney::ONE $1 = 1 ``` SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: openSUSE Leap 15.6 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.11 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0 Qt Version: 5.15.12 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdevelop] [Bug 499757] KDevelop crashes when trying to do git commit
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499757 Igor Kushnir changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REPORTED|RESOLVED Resolution|--- |UNMAINTAINED CC||igor...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Igor Kushnir --- Cannot reproduce. KDevelop 5 is no longer maintained. Looks like the Patch Review plugin or loading plugins on demand is broken on your system. A possible workaround is to disable the Patch Review plugin on the Plugins page of the Configure KDevelop dialog. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 499743] Desktop and wallpaper dialog layout broken when initially opened
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499743 --- Comment #9 from slartibar...@gmail.com --- one thing i noticed on another laptop (an old t420) Here i don't see the layout problem, but what i see when first opening the dialog is, that the elements move quickly into place (a very subtle effect, but noticeable) This does not happen when switching between mouse and wallpaper afterwards, then it's instant. Maybe this moving into place is broken somehow on the other machines? Btw, both had previously (the p14s still has, the t470 does not any more) a secondary monitor connected. The t420 from the 3rd test did not (laptop only) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kde] [Bug 499414] System tray widget panels not easily dismissable since KDE6
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499414 --- Comment #3 from John Kizer --- The arrow next to the tray icons that points up when none of the widgets are open, switches and points down (with a tooltip of "Close popup") when a tray widget is open. Does that function on your system? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
