[knotes] [Bug 352011] No notes after KDE login; knotes must be restarted
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=352011 --- Comment #6 from Fabio Coatti --- Just a thought: could this be a timing issue? I noticed that restarting akonadi helps but sometimes it does not work. It could be a mere coincidence, but when I restarted akonadi with "restart", sometimes notes failed to show up or only some appeared. Restarting akonadi with "stop", wait few seconds and then "start" it never failed, all notes were present. I guess this probably is a mere coincidence, but maybe it could an useful piece of information. Still poking around... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[okular] [Bug 363776] New: Text selection begins prematurely following change to tool
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363776 Bug ID: 363776 Summary: Text selection begins prematurely following change to tool Product: okular Version: unspecified Platform: unspecified OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org Reporter: jonat...@imatix.com When changing the mouse tool to text selection, okular sometimes behaves as though the mouse button is already pressed, forcing the user to click once to cancel and again to begin text selection. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an annotation if one does not already exist. 2. Select the browse tool 3. Right click on the annotation 4. Hit escape to cancel the pop-up menu. 5. Change to the text selection tool Actual Results: Text selection begins immediately, as though a mouse button was held down. Expected Results: Text selection should not begin until a mouse button is pressed at the start of the desired selection. The PageView class loses track of its internal state. In part this is related to the fact that the annotation pop-up menu appears when the right mouse button is pressed, rather than when it is released, as all other pop-up menus do. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Committed on 01/06/2016 at 08:19. Pushed by elvisangelaccio into branch 'master'. Fix non-resizable infopanel when symlinks have a long target When a symbolic link points to an entry with a long filename, the infopanel takes almost all available horizontal space and, even worse, cannot be resized. This is because there is a single QLabel with a multi-line text, one of which is the symlink's target. This patch replaces this label with a vertical layout containing different labels. The targetLabel is now a KSqueezedTextLabel so that a long target name won't mess up anymore the infopanel size. [krita] [Bug 363774] There is no any light theme for .appimage bundles
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363774 --- Comment #5 from Boudewijn Rempt --- These are two different things: the widget style (for which we use fusion, because oxygen isn't available for Qt5 and breeze is broken) and the color theme. It is incomplete. On Kaffeine version 2.0.1, we updated the scan file to match the latest version of the DTV Scan tables at: https://git.linuxtv.org/dtv-scan-tables.git/ Please check if the channels you need are there. If not, please send a patch adding the channels you're using for your city, and we'll be adding it to Kaffeine upstream. You should use the "--output-dvbsrc" option with w_scan to generate the file on the correct format. If you're using a new version of Kaffeine (1.3.1 or upper), you can generate the scanfile.dvb yourself using the source code. The README file has instructions on how to compile the code. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=351269 Mauro Carvalho Chehab changed: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |WONTFIX Assignee|christophpfis...@gmail.com |mche...@infradead.org CC||mche...@infradead.org --- Comment #3 from Mauro Carvalho Chehab --- The Kaffeine version you're using is too old... it still uses the xine backend to play videos. We moved to libVLC sometime ago, and we just released upstream a version 2.0.1, with is based on KDE5. So, lots of change too. That's said, changing the watch video position in live stream is problematic, and we ended by disabling it in the new version, while we don't have a way to fix the issues. The problem is that the backend player may wrongly identify a change at the play timestamp as the end of file and stop playing. That seems to be the problem you're reporting. I intend to fix this on some future version. So stay tuned. [okular] [Bug 363788] New: Fit to page printing does incorrect scaling and unwanted offsetting
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363788 Bug ID: 363788 Summary: Fit to page printing does incorrect scaling and unwanted offsetting Product: okular Version: 0.21.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: printing Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org Reporter: psychon...@nothingisreal.com As a consequence of Bug 319476, Okular now tries to fit the document to the page size when printing. However, it doesn't work at all for me. Trying to print a PDF which uses a larger page size than the printer media results in the document being scaled down far too small. And trying to fit a PDF which uses a smaller page size than the printer media results in the document being scaled up the appropriate amount, but then offset several centimetres on the page, resulting in much of it being cut off. I have tried this with several different HP and Brother printers and always get the same result. By contrast, using CUPS's "lpr -o fit-to-page" works as expected. I also have no problems printing such documents with other PDF viewers such as evince. I will add several attachments to this report with sample A0 and A5-size documents, along with scans of what happens when I use Okular and lpr to print these on A4 paper. Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

It still uses libxine backend to play videos. We moved to libVLC sometime ago (version 1.3.x), and we just released upstream a version 2.0.1, with is based on KDE5. So, lots of change too. Could you please test the upstream version and see if it works? The README file contains instructions about how to compile it. You can find it at our git repository: https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kaffeine.git As this BZ is on an old version that we're not maintaining anymore, I'm closing the bug. [krita] [Bug 359255] OSX Japanese env: Krita3.0 prealpha assert&crash on startup
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359255 --- Comment #14 from guruguru...@outlook.jp --- Hi Boud. Sorry I was testing with both - copying "share/krita" to "User//Library/Application Support/" *and* - copying "share" content to "resources" When I re-test with deleting "User//Library/Application Support/" Krita tries to launch in Japanese, yet it fails to load presets and quits. Anyway, I think I found one suspicious difference in console log. XDG_DATA_DIRS setting seems to be wrong when I'm using Japanese as System preferred language. When I'm using Japanese as MacOS language: Setting XDG_DATA_DIRS "/../../share" When I switch to English: Setting XDG_DATA_DIRS "/Applications/krita.app/Contents/share" -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
