In class UMLDatatypeWidget move type related combo box setup into related
constructor.

This makes UMLDatatypeWidget::init() type independent.

patch applied.

For those on Fedora 23/24, please don't use my packages, as now an official

and, if the problem is still actual:

1) Activate Basic Smoothing
2) Activate tablet events logging
3) Start video recording your screen with some software

Then try to reproduce the problem a couple of times

I need the following data:
1) Video of the bug

2016-06-01 Thread Fabio Coatti via KDE Bugzilla

Just a thought: could this be a timing issue? I noticed that restarting akonadi
helps but sometimes it does not work. It could be a mere coincidence, but when
I restarted akonadi with "restart", sometimes notes failed to show up or only
some appeared. Restarting akonadi with "stop", wait few seconds and then
"start" it never failed, all notes were present. I guess this probably is a
mere coincidence, but maybe it could an useful piece of information. Still
poking around...

In KDE 4 Calendar shows holidays. Please bring back this function.
http://i.imgur.com/KRzYWyv.jpg

Don't take it as criticism but in my opinion the overall look and feel of
Calendar in KDE4 was better than now in Plasma 5. Today's date was
highlighted, holidays were highlighted, ability to copy date, to skip weeks
(to see what date will be in a week time). Calendar in Plasma 5 lacks all of
the above. Please bring back this functions.

Reproducible: Always

[okular] [Bug 363776] New: Text selection begins prematurely following change to tool

2016-06-01 Thread Jonathan via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363776

Bug ID: 363776
Summary: Text selection begins prematurely following change to
tool
   Product: okular
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: unspecified
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: jonat...@imatix.com

When changing the mouse tool to text selection, okular sometimes behaves as
though the mouse button is already pressed, forcing the user to click once to
cancel and again to begin text selection.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an annotation if one does not already exist.
2. Select the browse tool
3. Right click on the annotation
4. Hit escape to cancel the pop-up menu.
5. Change to the text selection tool

Actual Results:
Text selection begins immediately, as though a mouse button was held down.

Expected Results:
Text selection should not begin until a mouse button is pressed at the start of
the desired selection.

The PageView class loses track of its internal state. In part this is related
to the fact that the annotation pop-up menu appears when the right mouse button
is pressed, rather than when it is released, as all other pop-up menus do.

Fix non-resizable infopanel when symlinks have a long target

When a symbolic link points to an entry with a long filename, the infopanel
takes almost all available horizontal space and, even worse, cannot be resized.

This is because there is a single QLabel with a multi-line text, one of which
is the symlink's target. This patch replaces this label with a vertical
layout containing different labels. The targetLabel is now a KSqueezedTextLabel
so
that a long target name won't mess up anymore the infopanel size.

I don't understand. The clock defaults to the text color defined in the Plasma

[krita] [Bug 363774] There is no any light theme for .appimage bundles

2016-06-01 Thread Boudewijn Rempt via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363774

These are two different things: the widget style (for which we use fusion,
because oxygen isn't available for Qt5 and breeze is broken) and the
color theme. The color theme is independent from the the widget style,
so we can just tweak one of these color themes, rename it and use it in
Krita. But I'd like Deevad and Animtim to handle that.

[krita] [Bug 363774] There is no any light theme for .appimage bundles

2016-06-01 Thread Andrey via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363774

Maybe I mislead you, actualy I don't care about _theme_, I just want to have a
light _color scheme_.

For example in kde I can set:
- "Oxygen" theme and color scheme "Norway"
- "QtCurve" theme and the "Norway" color scheme again.

Actualy I don't care about particular colors, it's impossible to fit it for
all, so any colors which are close to "very light gray" will be enough :)

[telepathy] [Bug 363782] New: Chat plasmoid not recognized after login

2016-06-01 Thread Kai Uwe Broulik via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363782

Bug ID: 363782
Summary: Chat plasmoid not recognized after login
   Product: telepathy
   Version: git-latest
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: chat-plasmoid
  Assignee: kde-telepathy-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: k...@privat.broulik.de

When I log in to my session the chat plasmoid doesn't seem to register itself
to Telepathy properly, ie. chats that open are opened in a ktp-text-ui window
instead of the applet. If I restart plasmashell all works fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have quick chat applet in your panel
2. Log out
3. Log back in
4. Start KTP conversation

Actual Results:
It opens in a ktp-text-ui window

Expected Results:
It opens in the quick chat applet

  Platform: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Desktop GUI

The mouseover of links in HTML-Mails shows the destination of that link. This
is quite usefull to identify phishing/scam mails. The timeout for that
mouseover happens to be so short that it is impossible to read it.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
Mouseover disappears almost immediately.

Expected Results:
Mouseover stays visible for multiple seconds or until the mouse is moved away
from the link.

2016-06-01 Thread Jonathan Riddell via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363611

Adding some more debugging it does seem to successfully read the popcon file

In PopConParser.cpp
QHash PopConParser::parsePopcon(QObject* parent, QIODevice*
dev)
Added: qDebug() << "XXXadding ratings" << pkgName << " " << vote;
I can see:
XXXadding ratings "org.kde.konsole.desktop" 503916

But in AppstreamReviews.cpp
Rating * AppstreamReviews::ratingForApplication(AbstractResource* app) const
I re-enable the debug line qDebug() << "fuu" << appk->appstreamId() <<
m_ratings.value(appk->appstreamId());
and add
qDebug() << " " << m_ratings.value(appk->appstreamId())->rating();
it show:
fuu "org.kde.konsole.desktop" Rating(0x5a90120)
"org.kde.konsole.desktop" 0

so something is wiping the ratings
and it shows

It seems to fix things for me. The best thing you can do is test for yourself
and give feedback on the Qt codereview ticket (esp. if it doesn't work for
you).
This will be all the more useful if you have a test case.

[kaffeine] [Bug 359364] no channel found when I make the channel search with my all usb Hauppauge

PLease ignore comment 1. It is incomplete.

On Kaffeine version 2.0.1, we updated the scan file to match the latest version
of the DTV Scan tables at:
https://git.linuxtv.org/dtv-scan-tables.git/
Please check if the channels you need are there. If not, please send a patch
adding the channels you're using for your city, and we'll be adding it to
Kaffeine upstream. You should use the "--output-dvbsrc" option with w_scan to
generate the file on the correct format.

If you're using a new version of Kaffeine (1.3.1 or upper), you can generate
the scanfile.dvb yourself using the source code. The README file has
instructions on how to compile the code. After compiled, assuming that you
cloned the dtv-scan-tables to directory ~/dtv-scan-tables and added there the
channel list, you can generate a new scanfile with:

./tools/convertscanfiles ~/dtv-scan-tables/ src/scanfile.dvb

to play

The Kaffeine backend that plays video has been changed along the time. It used
to be mplayer and xine. On newer versions (1.3.x), it uses libVLC. On the
current version (2.0.1), there were some major changes, with the port to KDE5,
and some of such changes can solve your flickering issue. So, could you please

The Kaffeine version you're using is too old... it still uses the xine backend
to play
videos. We moved to libVLC sometime ago, and we just released upstream a
version 2.0.1,
with is based on KDE5. So, lots of change too.

That's said, changing the watch video position in live stream is problematic,
and we
ended by disabling it in the new version, while we don't have a way to fix the
issues.
The problem is that the backend player may wrongly identify a change at the
play
timestamp as the end of file and stop playing. That seems to be the problem
you're
reporting.

I intend to fix this on some future version. So stay tuned.

Btw, if you want to take a sneak pick on the latest version, it is at:

https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kaffeine.git

The README file contains instructions about how to compile it.

As this BZ is on an old version that we're not maintaining anymore, I'm closing
the bug. If you find similar issues with version 2.0.1, please re-open.

[okular] [Bug 363788] New: Fit to page printing does incorrect scaling and unwanted offsetting

2016-06-01 Thread Tristan Miller via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363788

Bug ID: 363788
Summary: Fit to page printing does incorrect scaling and
unwanted offsetting
   Product: okular
   Version: 0.21.3
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: printing
  Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: psychon...@nothingisreal.com

As a consequence of Bug 319476, Okular now tries to fit the document to the
page size when printing. However, it doesn't work at all for me. Trying to
print a PDF which uses a larger page size than the printer media results in the
document being scaled down far too small. And trying to fit a PDF which uses a
smaller page size than the printer media results in the document being scaled
up the appropriate amount, but then offset several centimetres on the page,
resulting in much of it being cut off.

I have tried this with several different HP and Brother printers and always get
the same result. By contrast, using CUPS's "lpr -o fit-to-page" works as
expected. I also have no problems printing such documents with other PDF
viewers such as evince.

I will add several attachments to this report with sample A0 and A5-size
documents, along with scans of what happens when I use Okular and lpr to print
these on A4 paper.

Reproducible: Always

[krita] [Bug 359255] OSX Japanese env: Krita3.0 prealpha assert&crash on startup

2016-06-01 Thread via KDE Bugzilla

Hi Boud. Sorry I was testing with both
- copying "share/krita" to "User//Library/Application Support/"
*and*
- copying "share" content to "resources"

When I re-test with deleting "User//Library/Application Support/"
Krita tries to launch in Japanese, yet it fails to load presets and quits.

Anyway, I think I found one suspicious difference in console log.
XDG_DATA_DIRS setting seems to be wrong when I'm using Japanese as System
preferred language.

When I'm using Japanese as MacOS language:
Setting XDG_DATA_DIRS "/../../share"

When I switch to English:
Setting XDG_DATA_DIRS "/Applications/krita.app/Contents/share"

We just released version 2.0.1 of Kaffeine, with libVLC and using Qt5/KF5.

It should fix HD slowness, as it will use the GPU to accelerate video decoding.

Could you please test the upstream version and see if it works? The README file
contains instructions about how to compile it. The dependencies there were
updated to reflect the current needs for both Debian and Fedora. If you find
the need of some extra package, please report for us to add there.
