Re: [JPP-Devel] WMS server menu is too narrow

2013-06-18 Thread Giuseppe Aruta
Hi Michael,
excuse me for late answer.
These are some worldwide server that could be useful:

Elevation data over the World ERDAS Apollo
http://apollo.erdas.com/erdas-apollo/coverage/WorldElevation?

Intergraph Map Service World Map
http://www2.demis.nl/WMS/wms.ashx?wms=WorldMap&service=WMS&request=GetCapabilities

GEO Data Portal WMS Server
http://gridca.grid.unep.ch/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/www/geodataportal/htdocs/mod_map/geo_wms.map&;

_

And this is a service that could be useful in Italy, if we decide to have
national wms url in OpenJUMP:
http://wms.pcn.minambiente.it/ogc?map=/ms_ogc/WMS_v1.3/raster/ortofoto_colore_06.map&service=wms&request=getCapabilities&version=1.3.0

thanks

Giuseppe

Hi,

It could also be good to have one MapServer-WMS for testing
http://demo.mapserver.org/cgi-bin/wms

Hi Giuseppe,

currently does not work for me, but Jukka told me that it worked
for him on march. Don't know what happens with this URL

We can add a few other useful URLs if we know they can be used
by a large user community (world wide datasets or NMA's datasets)

Let me know if there is a reference WMS for Italy.

I didn't test last improvemnt. AFAIR there were some URLs on OJ 1.5 which were

the JTS changelog
http://sourceforge.net/p/jts-topo-suite/code/873/log/
seems not to mention anything like it.

Martin: any update on this?

Take a look at the gestureFinished() method. There you get your features
as a Collection:
Collection features = (Collection) map.get(layer);
Now you can iterrate over this features with the iterator() or toArray()
methods.

[JPP-Devel] gource : dev visualisations

2013-06-18 Thread Stefan Steiniger
Hi guys,

not sure if you know gource software development animations already?

I have seen gource videos of leaflet, qgis and grass (on youtube), e.g.
this one is from qgis:
http://vimeo.com/35650634

If some wants to play around:

https://code.google.com/p/gource/

for me its difficult as I am not having win (nor debian) :(

cheers,
stefan
