Sending messages to newsgroups through gmane.io

Hello,

I have been using gnus configured with gwene.org and gmane.io for subscribing 
to rss and newsgroups over NNTP. While I can retrieve mail (through nnimap) and 
fetch feeds pretty fine, I cannot compose messages to newsgroups. Doing `a` in 
the group buffer and then adding the name of the newsgroup, like 
gmane.emacs.gnus.{general,user}, only keeps the message in draft and shows: 
"Read-only server". But I have heard that one can use gmane for conversing on 
the mailing list, I’d like some help on how to get it going.

Try the other way around: enter the newsgroup you want to post to,
then press 'a'.

gmane.test is a good place to try in.
