[imp] IMP using horde credentials for smtp auth when not desired

Horde 5.1.1
IMP 6.1.2


My configuration files:

imp/config/backends.local.php:

$server['imap']['smtp']['horde_auth'] = false;


horde/config/conf.php:

$conf['mailer']['params']['host'] = 'smtp.gmail.com';
$conf['mailer']['params']['port'] = 587;
$conf['mailer']['params']['auth'] = true;
$conf['mailer']['params']['username'] = 'mai...@tesdomain.com.br';
$conf['mailer']['params']['password'] = 'gmail-dummy-password';
$conf['mailer']['type'] = 'smtp';


But IMP seems to be ignoring the above settings and is using horde 
credentials anyway to send the message.



I've added Horde::debug($this->_params) at line 147 of 
/usr/share/php/Horde/Mail/Transport/Smtp.php



When I click the *New Message* button I get this, which seems just fine:
