You can probably use the passwd application to have users change
passwords. I doubt it will work to create users using the imap driver
though. You should consider a LDAP or sql based backend for your smtp
and imap users and use that as horde backend.

simple setups can then be administrated through the horde admin
screen. More complex setup could use vilma but this is unreleased beta
software.

Hi all,

domains/users. I have only a passwd file which have all the user names and

How do i configure horde4 to change user passwords and create new users. I
searched a lot but only found how to change passwords using mysql database.
Please advice.

thanks,
Dinoosh.

I'm not sure there is a simple way to let Horde manage your users and
passwords if you use a text passwd file. I was in the same situation as
you and moved to a full SQL back-end to achieve this. However, instead
of telling Horde to use the Dovecot SQL table, I did it the other way
around: I configured Dovecot to use the "horde_users" table. This way I
can use Horde for full management of users and passwords. This might,
however, not be the answer you wanted.

Zitat von Rodrigo Abantes Antunes :

Hi, I can se my emails well but when I click to print the special
characters are wrong. I cannot see "canção" for example. Another
problem: if I send and email edited in html to myself I cannot see
the html parts and the special characters are wrong too. Please help
me. My users are making me crazy because of that!

Without *any* further information about your actual installation,
there isn't anyhting we can help you with.
