million in the first three quarters of 2005. That put the company on track to 
double its annual profits from the previous year.

· The nation's second largest coal mining company, Arch Coal, also had 
higher properties, up about 25 percent, to $91 million in the first nine months 
of 2005.

· Average NSW Mines export thermal coal prices topped A$61 per ton in 
the March quarter 2005, 55% above the same quarter in 2004.

· Average NSW hard coking coal export prices exceeded A$90 per ton in 
the March quarter 2005, an increase of 33% over the December quarter 2004 and 
53% higher than the March quarter 2004.

· Xstrata - 2004 annual profit up 277% on 2003;

· BHP Billiton - record half-yearly profit, up 127% from the 
corresponding period in 2003;

· Excel Coal net profit for the six months ended December 2004, up 
427%. 

Global coal production is expected to reach 7 billion tons. 

US Coal Production



The US coal industry profits are worth about $67 Billion per year. The US is 
the second largest producer and consumer of coal in the world (China being 
first). Quest Minerals lies in the heart of Kentucky, which is the third 
largest coal state in the US, earning a profit in 2006 of $160 Million, 
increasing profits by 400% from 2005. With coal prices in the Central 
Appalachia region (where Kentucky is located) soaring to the highest in the US

  c.. Production - Kentucky produced 131.4 million tons of coal in 2002, 
compared to the record production of 179.4 million tons set in 1990.  Kentucky 
has been one of the top three coal producers in the United States for the last 
50 years. 
  d.. Employment - The Kentucky coal industry paid $742.3 million in direct 
wages in 2002, directly employing 15,584 persons and indirectly providing 3 
additional jobs for every miner employed.  The average weekly wage for coal 
miners in Kentucky was $916 during 2002. 
  e.. Economy - The Kentucky coal industry brought over $2.5 billion into 
Kentucky from out-of-state during Fiscal Year 2000-01 through coal sales to 
customers in 27 other states and 11 foreign countries.  Kentucky coal companies 
paid $141.5 million in coal severance taxes in Fiscal Year 2002. 
  f.. Coal Markets - Electric power plants, located in 25 states, accounted for 
almost 67% of the Kentucky coal sold during 2002. 
  g.. Coal Resources - Kentucky has two distinct coal fields, one in Western 
Kentucky and one in Eastern Kentucky.  Kentucky's 88.5 billion tons of coal 
resources remaining represent 84% of the original resource.

  Jarak pagar sebagai tanaman energi memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi, 
antara lain dapat diproses menjadi biokerosin, biodiesel dan minyak bakar. 
Hampir semua bagian tanaman jarak pagar dan limbah yang dihasilkan pada 
pengepresan biji dan pengolahan minyak lebih lanjut dapat dimanfaatkan. 
Pemanfaatan minyak jarak pagar sebagai minyak bakar merupakan salah satu 
alternatif untuk meningkatkan nilai ekonomi minyak jarak pagar khususnya bagi 
petani/kelompok tani setempat.  Dari produk minyak jarak yang dihasilkan, 
selanjutnya dapat lebih ditingkatkan lagi nilai tambahnya dengan cara 
memanfaatkan minyak jarak tersebut menjadi produk sabun. 
   
  Pengolahan minyak jarak menjadi biodiesel merupakan salah satu aspek yang 
perlu dikaji lebih lanjut. Pemanfaatan minyak jarak pagar sebagai biodiesel 
lebih prospektif karena minyak jarak pagar bersifat non-edible oil sehingga 
tidak perlu bersaing dengan kebutuhan pangan masyarakat. Hasil samping dari 
pengolahan biodiesel, yaitu gliserin, dapat dimanfaatkan dengan mengolahnya 
lebih lanjut menjadi produk-produk turunan lainnya dengan cara menerapkan 
proses lebih lanjut terhadap biji jarak pagar yang dihasilkan.
   
  Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka Surfactant and Bioenergy Research Center 
LPPM-IPB akan menyelenggarakan "Konferensi Jarak Pagar yang mengusung tema : 
"Menuju Bisnis Jarak Pagar yang Feasible". Konferensi yang diadakan juga 
bertujuan untuk menginventarisir hasil-hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan 
oleh Perguruan Tinggi maupun Lembaga Penelitian di Indonesia. Diharapkan dari 
kegiatan ini dapat disusun roadmap penelitian tentang jarak pagar yang 
komprehensif dan tidak tumpang tindih. Selain itu, hasil dari konferensi ini 
dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi Pemerintah Daerah untuk meningkatkan 
kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pengembangan jarak pagar. Konferensi akan

I believe that you have a desire to quit smoking, and this 
email can help you manifest that desire.

Now, if you've read this far, you're ready to become a
non-smoker.  But you've also probably still got quite a 
few excuses that you're holding on to as justifications 
for continuing to smoke your way to an early grave.

So let's get those excuses out of the way right now!

This is a popular one with the ladies, but I even hear 
it from men:  "If I quit, I'll gain weight."

Okay, here are the facts:  you gain weight when you take 
in more calories than your body burns.  That has nothing 
to do with smoking or not smoking.  While the idea that 
quitting tobacco causes food to taste better may be true, 
it's also true that people who've never used tobacco will 
gain weight this year.

There are separate programs to deal with that issue.  
Don't use that as a "cop-out."

Besides, the idea that tobacco is a weight control 
solution doesn't address the reason why there seems to 
be a ton of fat smokers!

Now I also suspect that some people don't want to gain 
weight because they think they won't be attractive anymore.  
Well, let me clue you into something.  There is a very 
real possibility that..

...your sex life will improve if you quit smoking.

Did I get your attention with that one?  It's true.
Physically, it's a known medical fact that smoking 
lowers testosterone in men and interferes with a woman's
orgiastic ability.  But even more importantly --- there 
is nothing at all sexy about a smoker.  Who wants to get 
into bed and kiss an ashtray?  And don't fool yourself.  
Breath mints don't do it.

If you ever kiss a smoker after you've become a non-smoker
you'll probably gag with the thought of that's how it was 
to kiss you for so many years.

Another excuse:  "I'm under a lot of stress and smoking 
relaxes me."  It's not the smoking that relaxes you.  It's
the THOUGHT that smoking relaxes you that provides the 
actual relaxation. 

Smoking actually increases your heart rate and raises 
your blood pressure.  And, as in all other things in life, 
change your thoughts and you change your life.

A widely used excuse:  "I switched to a safe, low-tar,
low-nicotine cigarette."  Excuse me for being so blunt, 
but that's B.S.!  There are NO SAFE cigarettes.  You were 
not designed to ingest smoke, period.  You ain't kiddin me
or anybody else, so quit kiddin yourself.

Here's an excuse a lot of people won't share but a lot of 
people have:  "It's too hard to quit - I don't have the
willpower."

One half of all the people who have ever smoked have become
non-smokers.  That's many millions of people and we all 
lack will power to one degree or another.  The question is 
not about will power.  It's about motivation.  And I prove 
the point with this:  Do you get up and go to work every 
day because of will power or because of motivation (like if 
you don't go, you won't have a roof over your head!)?

And, finally, one of the emptiest but most used excuses of 
all: "I'm such a grouch to be around when I quit smoking."  
Well, let me share something with you brothers and sisters.   

I would bet my house that every person in your life would 
rather be around a live grouch than a DEAD smoker.  And if 
you are a grouch while you're adjusting to becoming a 
non-smoker, it won't last your whole life.  But I know 
something that will. 

Once they remove that lung it ain't growing back.

if it's not something that's been on your mind for a while

(walaupun nasabah masih dalam keadaan sehat tidak kurang suatu apapun, Nilai 
Tunai bisa dicairkan, umur berapapun, inilah kelebihan ASURANSI PRUDENTIAL dan 
polis masih berjalan sampai tertanggung meninggal walau tanpa bayar premi   
 lanjutan)

  
2. Jika meninggal dunia normal (beda dengan manfaat no.4) pada usia 50 tahun 
mendapat (selain manfaat dari No.1) 
Santunan meninggal dunia  Rp.  583.576.000,-  maksimal atau Rp. 
268.992.000,- minimal (sisa premi 10 tahun dibayar oleh Prudential, anda tidak 
perlu bayar premi  lanjutan)
(besaran santunan bergantung dari usia nasabah)   

3. Jika terjadi sesuatu pada usia 37 tahun misalnya sakit jantung akan mendapat 
(tidak tergantung usia nasabah, uang langsung bisa cair jika terjadi hal 
tersebut) 
Santunan karena penyakit Jantung (termasuk 34 PENYAKIT KRITIS)  
 Rp. 100.000.000,- CASH (akan ditransfer ke rekening bank tertanggung 
maksimal 7 hari kerja, sejak pengajuan klaim dan anda tidak perlu lagi membayar 
premi lanjutan walaupun kasus terjadi sebelum masa pembayaran premi anda

Kamar Rawat Inap sebesar 7 unit atau   Rp. 280.000,-/sehari ;  maksimal 
sampai 100 hari/tahun 
  Biaya Ruang ICU Rp. 560.000,-/sehari ;  maksimal sampai 30 hari/tahun
Biaya Operasi (kecil,menengah,besar) Rp. (700.000,- s/d28.000.000,-) ;  
per sekali  operasi/tahun   
  Pru Med menggunakan sistem reimburst, sehingga jika anda punya asuransi 
kesehatan lain, masih bisa dicairkan ditempat anda, ada juga yang menggunakan 
kartu yang bekerja sama dengan International SOS, namun jika anda punya 
asuransi kesehatan lain (atau sudah memiliki) tidak bisa diklaim di dua

4. Santunan meninggal dunia karena kecelakaan sebesar Rp. 300.000.000,-CASH

 1. Mr/MrsX tadi  ingin   mengambil uang tunai pada usia   50  
tahun,   maka dia mendapat Rp. 68.992.000,- s/d Rp. 383.576.000,- (dan 
polis masih berjalan sampai tertanggung meninggal, walau tanpa bayar premi sisa 
10 tahunnya, nanti meninggal dapat santunan lagi).
 2. Mr/Mrs X tadi meninggal dunia karena kecelakaan pada usia 50 tahun, maka 
keluarganya akan mendapat Rp. 300 jt + Rp. 583 jt + Rp. 383 jt = 
 Rp.1,266   milyar (dan polis berakhir, walau tanpa bayarpremi sisa 
10 tahunnya).
 3. Mr/MrsX tadi sakit jantung pada usia 37 tahun, maka dia mendapat uang
