[hibernate-dev] [HSEARCH] Discussions on metamodel, use cases for it and FieldBridge information for optimizations and metamodel integration

2013-07-02 Thread Emmanuel Bernard
A few of us discussed the hibernate Search metamodel, its use cases and
how the API should look like as well as FieldBridge and how it could
expose data for optimization and metadata integration.

While you guys decided to dodge the bullet on how the FieldBridge is
supposed to expose the metadata, here is a proposal I started playing
with.

Names are not thought out but what do you think of the idea. It seems
future proof.

Hi,

thanks for posting the links. I added some comments to your gist. Maybe we can
use it to collect some
thoughts. Probably should link to this gist from the Jira issue as well.
HSEARCH-904 I guess.

[hibernate-dev] new "releases" feature in GitHub

2013-07-02 Thread Brett Meyer
https://github.com/blog/1547-release-your-software

This looks pretty useful -- download links, release notes, etc. Use it in
place of announcements on in.relation.to? ;)
