(In the meanwhile I wrote also a little procedure.) I was just a little bit surprised that there is not a standard macro or function for doing that. Are there fixes for winsock2.h in cygwin?
I've tried building both the 1.6.7 and the 1.7.2 releases and both fail because of winsock2.h problems. I've tried searching the archives in guile-devel and guile-user, but a search for "cygwin" or "winsock" don't turn up any hits newer than 2002. Looking through the archives manually seems pointless, too. They are so full of spam that I cannot find anything useful. (sorry about that.) Thanks, Thom ___ Guile-user mailing list Guile-user@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/guile-user
Re: Are there fixes for winsock2.h in cygwin?
Don't know about the winsock problem, but, as far as the spam problem, you get a much cleaner and spam free interface to the lists by looking at it at http://news.gmane.org/gmane.lisp.guile.devel/ There's a pretty good search at the bottom of the page. --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > I've tried building both the 1.6.7 and the 1.7.2 releases and both > fail because of winsock2.h problems. > > > I've tried searching the archives in guile-devel and guile-user, but > a search for "cygwin" or "winsock" don't turn up any hits newer than > 2002.
