I don't personally like the reddit api changes but want the Golang 
subreddit open.

Anyone can choose to stop reading it or posting to it. Opening it will not 
stop individuals from protesting.

the 49 who want to live?

You’re taking a resource away from others.  

If someone wants to protest Walmart they don’t burn it down.
