Re: [GNC] .qfx import not remembering account assignment
You do not say which import format you are using. For csv transaction imports I need to save the configuration for each account and then reload it by the name that i saved it as next time. For OFX imports GnuCash does remember automatically . I don't think that there is a standardized format for account ID that all financial institutions adhere to in csv export s. OK. Well that's interesting as, with the default settings I got the error I posted previously, but with the api key, it worked. The import is QFX as in the subject line. Choices have consequences. A consequence of choosing to back-up each individual file (include/exclude) or to move just selected files is that you have to know what the files are and in what directory they live. Note that if instead you chose to copy your entire user directory you do NOT have to know what anything is called or where it lives. Not if you are going to restore to a machine under the same OS (and you choose to keep the same user name). That's why when anybody asks "how do I back-up my GNUCASH data?" I always ask back "How do you back up the rest of your user data?" Re: [GNC] .qfx import not remembering account assignment
Indeed. I suspect the problem lies with the two to one mapping of accounts. David T. You are right there. API key is needed for AlphaVanatage. Note that they limit how many free API call you make in a day, even with an API key. -Original Message- From: Grace Sent: Wednesday, December 04, 2024 9:51 AM To: Kalpesh Patel ; gnucash-user@gnucash.org Subject: Re: [GNC] Get Quotes from Price Database not returning GBP and USD OK.
