[GNC] Viewing Hidden Accounts
My bank recently cancelled my Visa Credit Card and replaced it with a Mastercard, which prompted me to hide the redundant Liabilities:Visa account. Realising that I might want to examine that account in future, and noticing the pop-up help that advised me to use “Filter By” to bring it back into view, I found I couldn’t access this option using the right-mouse-click in the Accounts tab that I regularly use to access “Filter By” in other tabs. Casting around for an alternative route, I found it in the View menu. Is there a reason for not providing it in response to a right-mouse-click? [GNC] Is there any easy way to produce monthly reports?
The auditor here likes to see monthly figures so I need to produce Cash Flow or Profit and Loss reports or something similar for each month. Is there any easy/quick way to configure these other than to select the report, set the dates and save the report once for each month? Also, are there any reports that show each month's figures in columns on a single 'sheet'? Re: [GNC] Cannot get online quotes
Hi John, thank you for the hint, that command works correctly. Turns out I misunderstood how exchanges work (beginner...), and the exchange I need is not supported. US stocks work fine in GnuCash, so no problem there. Emilio. Re: [GNC] How to have Transaction Report show Debit Totals (&/or Credit Totals) ?
I check that out. I can set the date range via Filter ByBut I can't see how to make any other adjustments to what the report returns... One example is if you wanted to see 2019 Checking Deposits from customers...or 2019 Payments to vendorsOr relative to a particular vendor or customer or income or expense account I will keep the Register Report in my bag of tricks however so thanks! Use Edit>Find (Ctrl/Cmd-F). If you start in an account register the results will be limited transactions having a split in that account. The results will be in a new ledger-style register and you can run the account report on that. The Transaction Report cannot show Debit and Credit totals separately. The Reconciliation Report can, however, due to a prior feature request, the date filters from the reconciled dates.
