Which is exactly what it says on the dialog "Transaction Editor
Defaults", so that is the default value used when creating a new
scheduled transaction, it does not affect existing ones.

Re: [GNC] [GNC-dev] report

2019-06-03 Thread Maf. King

Dear Hilda,

you've joined the wrong list. you've sent your message to the email list that
discusses the low-level development of the Gnucash program.

"how do I" questions are best sent to thea user-level list, that I've copied
this to. Please remove the gnucash-devel email address from any reply.

I find that the Payable Ageing report (under the Reports menu , then
Business section) shows totals owing including VAT (very similar to GST)

the same is true in the Bills Payable dialogue box (business menu -> Vendor
section)

Hope that helps you look for the info you need.
Maf.

For gnucash 3.x and up gnucash looks for this file in
$HOME/.local/share/gnucash
Are files in that directory also backed up by BackupGnuCash.jar ? You should
restore to that directory as well if you want gnucash to find your saved

I was afraid of that. You may want to inform the author of that jar file about
the changed locations. We have a wiki page detailing all relevant file

Sure, I can see how this would be useful, and could be implemented for a
subset of SXes where the values are pre-computed. But what should it
display if there is a user-variable in the SX? Currently, when an SX

Alternatively, you can just tell the SXes to fire up to 300 days in

Well, sure, because when you Export Accounts, there are no transactions,
so the transaction parser is never used on read.

A better question is, what's wrong with that transaction time and why is
the parser barfing on it?

Ah, yes. Each SX may be set individually, because you may want them
firing at different times.

The global preference is the default for *new* SXes, but yes, you must
go back and "fix" all existing SXes.

John recently changed the date format in Gnucash to no longer include timezone
information, but gnucash-on-android still expects it to be there.

We got aware of this issue last week and John updated the gnucash side again
to include the timezone information to accomodate the Android users.
