RE: Add icon for "Get Transactions..."

2017-09-09 Thread Drew H .
Thanks for replying, David. I’m referring to “Actions -> Online Actions -> Get
Transactions” when you’re in a bank register. It would be nice to just click a
button rather than navigate the menu. Thanks!

Drew,

I'm not sure what suggestion you are talking about. Could you supply some
context?

P.S. Use Google to search the list archives.

Re: GnuCash on ArchLinux

2017-09-09 Thread B. Dielhenn
Hello,

due to the fact that gnucash depends on webkitgtk2 which is deprecated,
gnucash was removed from the official repository. For more info see the
Archlinux mailinglist archive: https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/ar
ch-dev-public/2017-June/028900.html
and this bug: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=751635

It is now available in the Arch User Repository (AUR):
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gnucash/

If you don't know how to install AUR packages, please refer to the
Archlinux wiki.

Regards,
Bernhard

That should read "depends on webkitgtk" not webkitgtk2. The next major release
will solve this issue and hopefully gnucash will return to the main Archlinux
repo when it comes out.

Re: Add icon for "Get Transactions..."

2017-09-09 Thread Christopher Lam
Ah but there exists mechanism to add keyboard shortcuts.Edit your
.gnucash/accelerator-map and maybe you'll find appropriate entry.
I've added Ctrl-J for Jump as Ctrl-L for Split as follows:

(gtk_accel_path
"/GncPluginPageRegisterActions/JumpTransactionAction" "j")
(gtk_accel_path
"/GncPluginPageRegisterActions/SplitTransactionAction"
"l")

A PGP signature could not be verified. I would need more information
(the output of yaourt) to help you building gnucash.

How to install? - Learn how to use the AUR.You sure it should work? -
Yes, I'm using gnucash 2.6.17 on Archlinux.

This is an arch linux problem, but it's likely the case that you need to
"receive" the pgp signature in question. In the error output should be a
string of perhaps 20 hex digits. You'll need to run

gpg --receive-keys

first.

I'm using gnucash from the pacman repository, version 2.6.16-3. I didn't
know it got removed from official repositories until a few minutes ago.

Work around of copying copy /usr/lib/libz.1.dylib into
Gnucash.app/Contents/Resources/lib works for me also.

Thank you Christopher. This worked very well for me. I uncommented out
the line and add Alt-G as the accelerator.

(gtk_accel_path "/gnc-plugin-aqbanking-actions/ABGetTransAction"
"g")
