Release 2.5.3 crashes randomly
In Windows 7 64 bit I had found a work-around to edit scheduled transactions successfully, or so I thought. I tried using it on a different file and after the third scheduled transaction edit GnuCash crashed in a seemingly random event. Then, after re-starting GnuCash 2.5.3 on the same file, GnuCash seemingly randomly crashed shortly after having sat idle for several minutes in the background then resuming activity of simple actions that had previously not caused problems as far as I can recall. For now I have reverted to 2.4.13, but before I next find time to try 2.5.3 I wonder if others are experiencing crashes that do not seem to be triggered by a specific user action. Re: Language translation
Hello Hrant, Am 14.06.2013 07:55, schrieb Hrant Ohanyan: Sorry for the delay. Hello I offer you to translate interface of your software GnuCash into Armenian language. Yes, that would be a good idea. Please contact and say the instructions and conditions of translation. You can find the instructions in http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Translation and http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Translation_Status If you encounter any problems, you can ask on this list. Also, I can publish information about your software on my website www.haysoft.org and it will become more popular in Armenia. Why not? no git patchset from .news files? (was Re: gnucash-htdocs branch master updated. svn_last-12-g3580119)
Geert, There appears to be something wrong, still, with the git email script with the htdocs repo. For example, this email just came through: Cristian Marchi writes: > The master branch has been updated >via https://github.com/Gnucash/gnucash-htdocs/commit/35801191 (commit) > from https://github.com/Gnucash/gnucash-htdocs/commit/f8f95043 (commit) > > > - Log - > --- > > Summary of changes: > news/130528-announce-2.5.2.news |2 +- > news/130707-announce-2.5.3.news |2 +- > 2 files changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) > > > hooks/post-receive As you can see, there is no patch in the email. However, if I run "git show -C 35801191" manually from code within the htdocs repo I *do* get a patch output. So something is going wrong, somewhere. What do we need to do to debug and fix this? -derek -- Derek Atkins, SB '93 MIT EE, SM '95 MIT Media Laboratory Member, MIT Student Information Processing Board (SIPB) URL: http://web.mit.edu/warlord/PP-ASEL-IA N1NWH warl...@mit.eduPGP key available ___ gnucash-devel mailing list gnucash-devel@gnucash.org https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-devel

There are some other problems as well, starting with the subject being "gnucash-htdocs branch master updated. svn_last-12-g3580119" instead of the first line of the commit message. Are these scripts writable by others besides you and Geert? (I think that's yes and that they're in the gitomatic setup, but I don't remember how to get to them). If so and if Geert doesn't have time I can take a whack at it on Thursday.
