Re: [Gimp-user] Image resizing based upon image content plugin
There is information on the website, IIRC you have to extract it into gimp's file structure under program files. Check the website to be sure, though. I would find it but at the moment I can't, sorry. Re: [Gimp-user] Wacom Intuos 3 quirk with 2.4.1
I seem to have to select the tool every time I start up GIMP on this tablet pc.. Not much of a bother though On 07/11/2007, Chris Mohler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Never mind. Re: [Gimp-user] toolbox
i think it might have been a side-effect of the tooltip. I noticed it too, particularly as it surprised me on windows (i set my linux wm to do that anyway) On 15/11/2007, Sven Neumann <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi, > > On Thu, 2007-11-15 at 02:12 -0800, Thomas Hart wrote: > > What happened to the mouse-over feature in the toolbox where if I > > mouse-over a tool icon, the toolbox becomes the forefront window ? > > I don't see anything in the preferences settings. Try going to preferences -> input devices -> configure extended input devices Select your tablet (even if it is already selected, I have to for some reason) and I'm guessing "Mode" may be set to Window. Change this to Screen, press save, close, and try again. (You may also want to press "Save Input Device Settings Now" in the input devices tab) What window mode does, is use the whole tablet to fit the dimensions of the image, that means if you have you pen at the top of the pad, it will be at the top of the image, not the desktop. However, if your window manager catches the pen input to use as a mouse, then as soon as you move the mous out of the image window, GIMP will no longer notice it, and stop moving the drawing cursor. This is how it works in MS Windows. Si ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
Re: [Gimp-user] Wacom tablet
I've had the same problems on my tablet PC, also with GIMP 2.4.2. I remember it working fine on Vista, although I'm not sure whether I had the same version of GIMP, it may have been 2.4.1 I did test it in Adobe Flash as well to see if it was an issue with the pen, and had the same trouble, so I think the tablet driver is to blame. I id try reinstalling it but this ended up making the pen not work at all, at the moment I have uninstalled Wacom's driver again and am using the Windows XP built in driver, which lacks functionality for pressure sensitivity and the eraser. I will try installing the driver again and will tell you how that works out. -- -Simon ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user
