[Gimp-user] Scanner source
I am using GIMP 2.6.10 on an iMac, Snow Leopard. I attempted to import an image from my scanner (Brother DCP-130C) by selecting File > Create > Scanner/camera > Select Source. The Select Source dialogue box is blank. How do I get GIMP to recognise the sanner? Thanks in anticipation. -- John S. (via www.gimpusers.com) Thank you for your reply, Alek S. The scanner works fine with all other applications. ___ Gimp-user mailing list Gimp-user@lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-user

>Have you got a symlink to the xsane binary in your gimp plug-in folder? > >Andrew Sorry Andrew, I can't answer your question because I haven't a clue what a "symlink" is or an"xsane binary". I went to the plug-in browser and found the Camera plugin but the information in the right hand side is beyond my limited knowledge. John Smith -- John S.
