[Gimp-user] Gimp refuses changed images

2006-08-07 Thread A. den Oudsten

When I change an image in Gimp I cannot write down the
changed image
The message is: Access denied.
How to operate to avoid that message?
Thanks Andre den Oudsten

Thanks Andre den Oudsten

What OS do you use? What version of GIMP do you use?

Gimp 2.2 in Suse Linux  10.0
Do you have
modification rights for original file? And for full path to image?
Aren't there some not-English letters in names of folders in the path
to image?

Copy it somewhere else and the t should work.

Thanks for the hint to modification rights!
It was a photo copied from a CD-Rom.
I learned to check, in that case, the owner rights.

[Gimp-user] MIssing .orf

2010-07-19 Thread A. den Oudsten
I installed openSUSE 11.3 and Gimp 2.6.8 was installed. To my surprise
the possibility to convert .orf files was gone!!
Is it possible to install that as an add-on or plug-in?

Thanks,

dcraw is installed, but my intention was to have it within Gimp.

I have ufraw installed in openSUSE 11.3, but how do I get it within Gimp?

Is gimp-ufraw another file than ufraw?
If yes, where can I download it?
