Hi, +1 (binding) I checked all releases: - incubating in artefact names - signatures and hashes fine - NOTICE and LICENSE fine in most cases (but see below) - Some files have incorrect headers (e.g [1]) or missing headers [2]. This has been brought up before in previous releases. - No unexpended binary files - I didn’t try and compile LICENSE issues: - All releases include gradlew and gradlew.bat these files do not have headers and these 3rd part files are not mentioned in the LICENSE. - The go LICENSE incorrectly states you should add "Copyright 2015-2016 IBM Corporation” to your own files - the text of the license for Filetype 1.0.5 is not included (as required by it's license). The pointer to the licenses should point to a copy of the license in distribution as licenses and URLs can change over time. - How is this file licensed? [3] Even if is it a “free” license it may have terms around distribution that make it incompatible with the Apache license, and even if not then it still good to list it in LICENSE. Thanks,. Missing mentor sign-offs / due Tuesday 7th
Hi, The following project failed to report on time and will be asked to report this week - Milagro - Toree This is the second time that Milagro has failed to report, given the activity on their list that may not be surprising. It’s probably time for the PPMC/mentors to discuss exiting the incubator. The following projects currently have no mentor sign offs: - Brpc - Edgent - PageSpeed - Ratis - SDAP - Tamaya - Tuweni The following project only have one mentor sign off and teh board like to see more than one: - Doris - ECharts - Heron - MXNet - Pinot - S2Graph If you are the mentor of any of the above project don’t forget to sign off the report by Tuesday. Incubator report formatting - what not to do
Hi,
The new report need a lot of formatting to get into the correct as some podling
reports:
- had no newlines
- change the report titles
- changed the spacing
- added multiple new lines
I had to fix this by hand. Several tools rely on the format of that report so
please don’t do any of this. Please make sure you paste content into a
{noformat} block and don’t apply any style. Confluence has an annoying habit of
reformatting content pasted into it outside of a {no format} block.
Also please make sure all sections under heading are indecent by 2 spaces and
that you maximum line length is under 77 characters.
For those who like command lines, this will get you some of the way there
before pasting:
