podlings please update your list of mentors

2011-10-21 Thread David Crossley
Would podlings please update your list of Mentors.

The lists are shown here sorted by project:
http://incubator.apache.org/projects/
and here sorted by Mentor:
http://incubator.apache.org/clutch.html#mentors

The data file is at:
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/incubator/public/trunk/site-author/podlings.xml

For example IIRC Henning retired a long time ago,
yet is still listed.

Each podling knows best who your Mentors are.

OK, good.

Yes, it would be necessary to have an easily readable version of the schedule.
But that could easily be done with XSLT I think.

I assumed that could be automated using the podling data.
Looks fairly simple to me to create the variable text, but perhaps I'm
missing something.
Could even fill in the description and incubation start date to help podlings.

Some other TLPs also use the Wiki - it's more convenient than SVN in some ways.

As far as I can tell, this would be the same for the current method,
apart from the issue of "committing" the Wiki page.
Is that the stumbling block at present?

[RESULT][VOTE] Graduation of Deltacloud to TLP

2011-10-21 Thread David Lutterkort
Hi all,

the vote[1] on graduating Deltacloud produced a result of 5 +1 votes,
and no 0 or -1 votes. The +1 votes were

Alan Cabrera
Christian Grobmeier
Chris Mattmann
Davanum Srinivas
Carl Trieloff

With that, I will ask the Board to put graduation of Deltacloud on its
agenda for the next board meeting.

David

With classrooms, the student-to-teacher ratio is something that is
often looked at. The equivalent would probably be the mentor:PPMC
member ratio

Exactly.

So rather than be congratulatory of Mentors you want these stats to call
them out for doing too much ? What then, tell them to resign if they are doing
more than how many projects , 3 , 4 , 7 ?

Far out.
