People who want stability should probably not track the latest ports tree
but instead branches. So i think ports tree can be updated already for us
to test it.

It's not easy. If we update to latest development releases, we need to patch 
some libraries (x11/libexo) or remove some defaults options (especially in 
Thunar).

I think it's better to keep ports tree the more "functional" particularly -HEAD 
branch (stable branch synchronizes with it).

But if you want to test it, I wrote documentation in order to update Parole [1] 
(and other core libraries).
