https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=230140 --- Comment #16 from Li-Wen Hsu --- (In reply to Kubilay Kocak from comment #15) I'm fine for having the dependency line in the Makefile of individual port (maybe I'm more prefer to that.) I want to point out that this ticket gets stuck because of it's not that easy to fix all the fallouts of the upgrade, but there are new ports want to be added because of needing new sphinx (ex: bug233010 ), which is the least thing I want to see. I suggest: - Let's get a new exp-run or just do a self poudriere build against the 3.0.2 (IIRC some of the fallouts in comment5 got fixed by newer version (1.8.x in that time), but I forgot to mention in that comment) - For fallouts, let's check if them needs 1.8.x or other fixes, or even can be deprecated. And I suggest we can set a time to revise (and deprecate) 1.8.x along with python 2 in ports. Any comments? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=244279 --- Comment #10 from Sascha Biberhofer --- (In reply to Kubilay Kocak from comment #9) Sorry for the delay. The synapse update is completely independent of the updates in bug 245252 and bug 243602. This is particularly true for the py-twisted update, otherwise I'd have bumped the dependency requirements. :) We only depend on the JSON1 option of sqlite3 mention in bug 244366, so the "depends on" information is still accurate. However, as you've noted, we're still vulnerable to request smuggling without the py-twisted update. This is however a different issue and probably more suitably discussed in bug 245252, py-matrix-synapse 1.12.3 works with either version. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ freebsd-python@freebsd.org mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-python To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-python-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
