math/py-numpy broken with python3 after r448024

2017-08-24 Thread Anton Yuzhaninov
Hello,

After this commit:
https://svnweb.freebsd.org/changeset/ports/448024

it is not possible to install math/py-numpy from ports with python3 (I
have PYTHON_VERSION=python3.6 in my /etc/make.conf).

'make install' log: http://termbin.com/0vrd
(TMPPLIST file is broken)

Workaround: partially revert commit r448024 - replace
%%PYTHON_PYOEXTENSION%% by pyo

If %%PYTHON_PYOEXTENSION%% then is TMPPLIST is corrupted by
add-plist-python target in Mk/Uses/python.mk

I'm not sure what is proper fix for this problem, but
%%PYTHON_PYOEXTENSION%% in pkg-plist and USE_PYTHON=py3kplist are not
compatible now (if python3 is used).

- Switched to CHEESESHOP
- Added LICENSE_FILE
- RUN_DEPENDS is now pointing to dns/unbound-python slave port (pending PR
221776)
- Fixed USES= python:-2.7

portlint -C complains about dns/unbound-python not existing yet, but otherwise
ok.

poudriere testport works fine.

Is the behaviour (not using closefrom(2)) consistent across all Python
versions, including 3.x up to 3.6 and default?

Is closefrom(2) available on all (supported) FreeBSD versions?

https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=221700

(In reply to Kubilay Kocak from comment #5)
Yes; I don't believe any current version of Python uses closefrom().

closefrom() is available on all supported FreeBSD releases.

HISTORY
The closefrom() function first appeared in FreeBSD 8.0.

For explicitness, this is effectively "Use closefrom(2) on FreeBSD", correct?

We should create an issue upstream if one hasn't already been created, and any
changes created should be appropriate for upstream inclusion, in particular
closefrom(2) detection (using any existing mechanisms)

We can carry local ports patches until the changes are merged upstream and
included in release versions
