FreeBSD Port: freehdl-0.0.7
RE: freehdl and qucs running digital simulation , 2 inputs to an AND gate , gives error cd: can't cd to vhdl libtool: link: cannot determine absolute directory name of `vhdl' This appears to be a problem in the freehdl package . Can you tell me how to fix it ? FreeBSD Port: linux-eagle5-5.11.0_1
Hi, I need to run the latest version of Eagle (6.10) on my FreeBSD AMD64 system. I have ordered and downloaded the latest linux version from CadsoftUSA. When I go to install it, I find out that several linux libraries in the linux-f10 installation need to be updated. I do not know how to do this properly. I can probably find the linux library binaries and copy them to the /compat/linux/... appropriate directory, but I would rather do this via an update to the linux-f10. The specific error I get when I try to install and run version 6.10 of eagle is... ./eagle: error while loading shared libraries: libpng14.so.14: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory. The current version of libpng for linux-f10 is 1 /compat/linux/usr/lib/libpng12.so.0 Can you help me update this , so I can run the latest version of Eagle ? Your help would be appreciated. FreeBSD Port: linux_base-f10-10_4
Dear Sir(s), I would like to run the latest version of Eagle, an electronic cad program on my freebsd 9.0 AMD64 system. Unfortunately, I am unable to make this work, as the latest version of Eagle reports eagle: /lib/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.10' not found (required by eagle) I can run version 5.1 in the meantime. But it looks like I will need an updated version of linux_base-f10, perhaps an f11, f12 or f13 or f14 version. Are there plans to update linux_base-f10 sometime this year ? Thank you for all of your hard work to make it easy to run linux applications on FreeBSD. Hi, There is a bug in xsane-setup.c that causes any password string beginning with a capital "S" to read as an empty string. Here is the code from xsane-setup.c /* make sure password is not stored in ascii text */ /* this is very simple but better than nothing */ for (i=0; ihttp://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ports-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
FreeBSD Port: openocd-0.7.0
Hello, Re: openocd on freebsd 9.2 amd64. I am trying to use a ftdi c232hm-edhsl-0 usb to jtag-spi adapter to communicate with a device that communicates via spi. I have been able to get openocd running , but I am confused on how to send data via spi. I may be setting the options incorrectly, or perhaps openocd does not support spi, I am not certain either way. I tried looking for support on openocd, with no success. I hope that you can point me in the direction I need to go . I am simply trying to use a usb-spi adapter to talk to a spectrum analyzer signal to get the data from it. It normally talks directly to an embedded control system via spi. If I can talk directly to it , I can verify that it is working properly . Again, any help you can give me is appreciated.
