Fetching binaries from GitHub
Is there a way to fetch binaries from GitHub instead of sources? In particular I need to fetch BackupPC-4.1.2.tar.gz from https://github.com/backuppc/backuppc/releases/tag/4.1.2 ___ freebsd-ports@freebsd.org mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ports-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"

If I do 'cdecl -V' on the previous version from David Conrad, it shows: # cdecl -V Version: @(#)cdecl.c 2.5 1/15/96 @(#)cdgram.y2.2 3/30/88 @(#)cdlex.l 2.2 3/30/88 and I'm pretty sure that I've been using it since at least 1992! It has been very useful at times, especially during my first few years of programming in C. I haven't installed the new version yet, but am happy to see the work done on it! -- Garance Alistair Drosehn= dro...@rpi.edu Senior Systems Programmer or g...@freebsd.org Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; Troy, NY; USA ___ freebsd-ports@freebsd.org mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ports-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
Committer needed
Hello, I have a very simple port called "ct-submit" for submitting ssl certificates to transparency logs. It's been sitting almost three months. If someone would take a look I'd be much obliged. https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=216766 -- Jim Ohlstein ___ freebsd-ports@freebsd.org mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ports-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
Bug report for shttpd?
Hello, I found your address under FreeBSD ports search (https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi?query=shttpd&stype=all). Can you tell me where to send a bug report for shttpd? The sourceforge page redirects to Mongoose, but since that project doesn't support inetd (the broken feature), I'd hate to clutter up the bug tracker if there's a better place to send a report. Thanks for your help. -- Dan ___ freebsd-ports@freebsd.org mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ports-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"

I would suggest asking the maintainer of the port, first. It i likely that he will request that you open a bug report either with the FreeBSD Bugzilla or with an upstream one if he feels that more appropriate. -- Kevin Oberman, Retired Network Engineer Have BGP.
