kmail crash
Hi I am attaching a compressed file showing the output from a debug run of kdepim-3.5.7 which finished in a crash. This crash is repeatable on my system when attempting to access a specific email which has been shifted, using a move to adedicated mail folder. Everytime an attempt is made to access this mail kmail hangs. If the window is maximized then there is no response from the system and the only way out seems to be to power down the system. If the window is not maximized then other windows/sheells can be accessed. update-patches and directory names containing spaces
Hey, I am having a problem with the update-patches target. The output produced from running it is below, the directory and associated work/ folder is located at http://rucci.org/ports/java/eclipse-europa/ (47MB, I removed a bunch of files that were unassociated with my problem to lower the size from 140MB). It seems update-patches works as intended until it reaches patches located inside plugins/org.eclipse.swt/Eclipse SWT PI/gtk/library/ and based on how it mangles the paths of files located within there it seems the problem is with the spacing in "Eclipse SWT PI". make update-patches Processing features/org.eclipse.rcp/build.xml Processing features/org.eclipse.jdt.source/build.xml Processing features/org.eclipse.jdt/build.xml Processing features/org.eclipse.platform.source/feature.xml Processing features/org.eclipse.platform.source/build.xml Processing features/org.eclipse.pde.source/build.xml Processing features/org.eclipse.pde/build.xml Processing features/org.eclipse.platform/build.xml Processing features/org.eclipse.sdk/build.xml Processing features/org.eclipse.equinox.executable/library/gtk/build.sh Processing features/org.eclipse.equinox.executable/library/gtk/make_freebsd.mak Processing features/org.eclipse.equinox.executable/library/eclipseShm.c Processing plugins/org.eclipse.platform.doc.user/customBuildCallbacks.xml Processing plugins/org.eclipse.platform.doc.isv/customBuildCallbacks.xml Processing plugins/org.eclipse.swt/Eclipse SWT PI/gtk/library/build.sh [: /usr/ports/java/eclipse-europa-back/files/patch-plugins_org.eclipse.swt_Eclipse: unexpected operator [: /usr/ports/java/eclipse-europa-back/files/patch-plugins_org.eclipse.swt_Eclipse: unexpected operator No patch-* found for plugins/org.eclipse.swt/Eclipse SWT PI/gtk/library/build.sh, creating patch-plugins_org.eclipse.swt_Eclipse SWT PI_gtk_library_build.sh diff: extra operand diff: Try `diff --help' for more information. FreeBSD Port: emacs-22.0.99_1
Hello, I have just downloaded and compiled emacs a little while ago. The emacs version number says 22.1.1. It seems as if there is some memory handling bug in the GTK part of emacs. The application dumps core every time when I try to open a file from the menu. I have also had a word with the devs on #emacs on irc.freenode.net. They have confirmed the bugs and also told that there has been some patches which are available in the cvs. They are to be integrated in the next release (22.2, most likely) but that would again be about a month maybe more from today. However to restore the stability of emacs I would request you to kindly integrate the said patches. FreeBSD Port: compiz-0.5.0
Hello, I have compiled the FreeBSD port for compiz 0.5.0 and experiencing random crashes of gtk-window-decorator. The crashes seem to be when closing a nautilus window. However the occurance is random. I have checked up with #compiz on irc.freenode.net and they have to say that some X window handling bugs have been detected and fixed in the next version 0.5.2. This is release is already available on the website and therefore I would request you to kindly bump up the version of the ports. I'm already working on 0.5.2, it will be a few more days though as this also picks up compiz-fusion which is another 10 or so ports...
