5.8 or 5.10 port?

Hello,

I was curious if anyone has started work in getting a newer mono version into 
FreeBSD.  5.8 and 5.10 both appear to have stable branches, but I’m not really 
familiar with mono or its releases.  I just have a program that I wish to run 
which is written using mono, and apparently requires something newer than the 
5.2 version available in ports.
