Bug 276301: www/firefox-esr: 115.6.0_1,1 hangs on start
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=276301

--- Description ---
Output to terminal when started there: firefox &
[Parent 1377, ProcessHangMon] WARNING: pipe error: Socket is not connected:
file
/wrkdirs/usr/ports/www/firefox-esr/work/firefox-115.6.0/ipc/chromium/src/chrome
/common/ipc_channel_posix.cc:724

The directory above is very strange as wrkdir points to a directory used during
the port build process.

When started from menu is hangs and process must be killed. Keyboard and mouse
have no effects, interesting is that the bookmarks toolbar does not appear.

I cannot reproduce, did you try firefox -p and create new profile?

firefox-esr is now at 115.6, can this problem be observed with that version as
well ?

Yes I did try to run firefox -p. Then the small window freezes in the same way.

Why does this strange message appear? I did not build from port but did install
the package from the FreeBSD repo. Isn't that strange?

The package build server build it from ports so the debug info and __FILE__ is
expanded correctly. What version of FreeBSD do you run?

Further hints: when entering in the firefox url bar about:support
the whole table is empty no data fields are printed.

This output appears in the terminal:
JavaScript warning: resource://gre/modules/Troubleshoot.sys.mjs, line 710:
WebGL context was lost.
JavaScript warning: resource://gre/modules/Troubleshoot.sys.mjs, line 710:

W: [(null)] caps.c: Normally all extra capabilities would be dropped now, but
that's impossible because PulseAudio was built without capabilities support.
