(In reply to Tatsuki Makino from comment #12)

Here,
*Mate desktop on X, but Wayland-related ports are pulled in as dependencies.
*Login to command line and start Mate with startx.
*x11/nvidia-driver (latest) as display driver. Currently, 535.98.
*No *drm*-kmod ports installed. (nvidia descrete graphics mode).

And
firefox --safe-mode: Crashes with core after pressing OK button.
firefox --healdess : Looks running, but don't know how to use it.

I'll upload bt all of `firefox --safe-mode` on lldb and transcripts of `firefox
--headless` later.

If drm kmods are now-mandatory from firefox117, this means I can no longer use
firefox until K[P|B]I of linuxkpi is enough stabilized (no longer need to wait
for updates of kmods) to avoid no/broken screen issues. With this aspect,
nvidia-driver is almost stable enough, but no drm functionality alone.

Crash backtrace all on stable/14 inside lldb, firefox --safe-mode.

Crash backtrace (bt all) obtained on lldb by invoking `lldb -o r --
/usr/local/bin/firefox --safe-mode`.
Clicked OK button on displayed panel, then, crashed (core dumped).
