adding to the "Laptops running FreeBSD page"

2016-01-19 Thread Andrew Perry
g'day,

I read on https://wiki.freebsd.org/Laptops that you may be interested in adding
laptops to the page, and I found that to suggest an addition, I would need to
ask on this list.

I have a new Lenovo T550, which has some unsupported bits.

Who (if anyone) should I send the output from the diagnostics suggested on that
page?

regards
Andrew Perry

pastebin had a whinge about the output from acpidump as it was more than 512Kb,
so I've put the files elsewhere. This is my new laptop, so eventually I hope to
have FreeBSD or PCBSD on it, so if there would be anything else useful just let
me know.

Also if I should be looking elsewhere any pointers would be helpful.

connect)

NVIDIA GM108M [GeForce 940M] (can only get to work if I select
external monitor in the bios)
