make installworld trouble

2003-09-17 Thread Michael L. Hostbaek
After doing a fresh cvsup of the RELENG_5_1 branch, and a successfull
make buildworld, make buildkernel, make installkernel - I get the
following error when issueing a make installworld:

--
>>> Installing everything..
--
cd /usr/src; make -f Makefile.inc1 install
===> share/info
===> include
creating osreldate.h from newvers.sh

  echo '#error " cannot be used in the kernel, use "' >>
osreldate.h;  echo "#else" >> osreldate.h;   echo \#'undef

>> osreldate.h;  echo "#endif" >> osreldate.h
touch: not found

*** Error code 1

I can see that a couple of other users on this list have expirienced
this problem, but no solution has been posted.

Any ideas ?

I sent a mail to the CVS repository Meisters yesterday, so it's just a
matter of time before it will be fixed.

panic with yesterday's sources

2003-06-25 Thread Michael L. Hostbaek
Hi,

My laptop running -CURRENT (with source from yesterday morning), just
panic'ed - and I am able to reproduce the problem.

First of all, on boot I disable ACPI as it does not work on my system.

# dhclient ep0
on which the system crashes, here is console output:

If I do the same operation when booted up with ACPI enabled, the machine
just restarts..

Let me know, if you need more information.

Adding the following setting to sshd_config, should disable S/Key
functionality:

'ChallengeResponseAuthentication no'
