I am glad some people enjoyed it. I mainly work in the Linux/Unix world and there are more and more people who honestly believe that _all_ languages are implemented in C at some level, and all OSes are C if you dig down low enough, and that the only real bare-metal compilers are C or something that translates to C or at least uses C's models. Only the middle-aged know that this wasn't always the case, and even the older than middle aged -- my age group -- often believe that tools like DOS and Pascal/Delphi died out in the 20th century and are simply not options for any modern computer. So when they see something like, say, Lazarus as FOSS, it can amaze them. It's 2023: it's possible it was generated by some chat bot! OTOH, it looks mostly valid and correct to me -- no? And it's good to see a mention of it. I think I found it on HN or somewhere but I can't remember now. -- Liam Proven ~ Profile: https://about.me/liamproven Email: lpro...@cix.co.uk ~ gMail/gTalk/FB: lpro...@gmail.com Twitter/LinkedIn: lproven ~ Skype: liamproven UK: (+44) 7939-087884 ~ Czech [+ WhatsApp/Telegram/Signal]: (+420) 702-829-053 ___ fpc-pascal maillist - fpc-pascal@lists.freepascal.org https://lists.freepascal.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/fpc-pascal

There's no errors in it really, but it's got that weird statement repetition you typically see in homework essays. :) And it's good to see a mention of it.
