Hi,
it looks like a bug in the change for [1], which landed for the 3.32.
Briefly looking into the code, it seems the LC_TIME value is propagated
into LC_ALL in error, thus I changed this (most likely) copy&paste
error for 3.33.1+ and 3.32.1+ with [2]. Either it's this, or the
gettext() has got confused with the setlocal() calls. Feel free to open
a new bug the next time [3].
Thanks and bye,
Milan

Hi,
not much idea here, I'm sorry. I'm not sure, but I think it might not
be anything new.

What are the calendar types, please? Maybe EWS, as you have it
installed? When you run evolution (and the background processes), can
the EWS server be reached? I think of [1], but maybe you face something
completely different.

You can run evolution-source-registry as this:

   $ ESR_DEBUG=1 /usr/libexec/evolution-source-registry

eventually with `export EWS_DEBUG=2` before it, to see what is done in
the background. The actual path can differ in your distribution.
Bye,
Milan

Hi,
it looks like you've enabled OAuth2 authentication, which requires more
detailed settings and eventually some cooperation from your
administrator, see [1] for more information (this link is referenced
also from the Mail account Properties, when you select the OAuth2
authentication method).
Bye,

Hi,
that's really interesting. Can it be the activities menu runs a
different evolution? I do not know, maybe you've installed a Flatpak
Evolution and the system-provided Evolution and the activities menu
runs the one from the Flatpak, while the command like runs the one in
the system? Try to find either evolution.desktop or
org.gnome.Evolution.desktop file and check what it references. It can
be stored either at /usr/share/applications/ or
~/.local/share/applications/, to name the two locations I'm aware of.
There can be more.
Bye,
Milan

Hi,
it's supposed to just work. It checks which messages are part of the
~/.cache/evolution/mail//folders/
and downloads only those which are missing.

Can it be your ~/.cache/ is cleared periodically?

the calendar is EWS base indeed.
And no, the symptoms are completely different from [1].

Ok, I'll try to collect some more information.
Thx!

[Evolution] Custom Keyboard Shortcuts for Gnome Evolution Mail Client

2019-04-01 Thread Sandeep Khanna via evolution-list
Having recently discovered how to assign/override custom keyboard shortcuts
in Evolution Mail client, I have created a project ‘
evolution-mail-custom-shortcuts
' on
GitHub to collaborate and document this information.

There could possibly be a separate ‘accels’ file per popular email
clients: Google
Gmail

, Microsoft Outlook

, Mozilla Thunderbird
, etc.

And while most of the custom shortcuts seem to work, the list formatting
shortcuts seem to be registered but don’t work! Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

(gtk_accel_path "/core-editor/style-list-number" "7")
(gtk_accel_path "/core-editor/style-list-bullet" "8")

This information is already documented in the official Evolution user
documentation. Select "Help > Contents", open the "Shortcut keys" page,
see the "Changing keyboard shortcuts" section.
