Re: [Evolution] EWS NTLM auth not working
Hello, in case some other desperate soul crosses over this topic, I still wasn't able to resolve this issue. It just looks Evolution / libsoup / ntlm_auth is not for some reason sending NTLMv2, but just NTLMv1. I asked in libsoup mailing list as well, but it is rather dead or had no luck. j2ev __ Od: Komu: Datum: 03.07.2017 19:22 Předmět: Re: [Evolution] EWS NTLM auth not working Hi Milan, thanks for your input. Yes, I do have ntlm_auth binary. But I've already tried to rename it, even purge winbind from the system, which provides it. The behavior was still the same. Well, I will try libsoup list then. (There is nothing wrong with sending plain text emails, and most recipients won't notice any difference. The only issue is if the email contains rich-text formatting you need to retain in your replies.) Actually, a more serious answer. If you highlight text before pressing reply, only the highlighted text will be included in your reply. So highlight everything except the yellow box and it should be removed. But WYSIWYG editing HTML is not a trivial task and it's difficult to unravel multi-level divs in the message, especially in an email composer! It would be easier if there was some form of HTML source editing option, but there isn't, and sometimes it gets things wrong. It is probably a bug and you might like to think about filing a bugzilla report about it. If you need more accomplished HTML editing, then you could always use an external editor. (When composing a message do File -> Compose in external editor. This needs the external editor plugin to be installed and configured.) I known I can reformat my replies into plain text and do so from time to time. This has the unfortunate side effect of confusing some recipients so I appreciate I can answer in HTML too. > > Actually, a more serious answer. Yes I have noticed this too, just tried this and it worked too :) Although for long mails this is somewhat suboptimal. ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
[Evolution] Reply prefix: don't want the localized one
Hello list, When I hit the "reply" button, I get "Risposta: " (i'm italian) in the subject line before the actual subject instead of the more canonical "Re: ". Is there a way to disable the localization of the replay prefix in the subject? Until version 3.24 the default was the classic "Re: " prefix, but now in 3.26 there is the localized word. It doesn't make sense, since many mail clients don't aggregate mails correctly with a prefix different than the default "Re: " in replies (ie. GMail, but many others too). So imo there should be a preference to change this behavior. Moreover, I've already looked for this in the dconf-editor but din't find any useful setting. Thanks in advance. -- Francesco Porro ___ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
